That does NOT look twisted IMO and looks correct...The lap stap as shown latched in is flat across you thighs...

And the shoulder cross strap as shown latched is also not twisted across your torso?

I agree when the belt is not deployed that latch tab is 'under'...but latched none of the straps are twisted across the person..

I could be missing something...;\..

I can confirm they were backwards. Tesla Service Santa Monica fixed the issue Summer 2024 when I had the truck in for various items.

I had this problem 2 days ago. Its an extremely easy fix, takes 5 seconds. The best way I can describe it is there is a void that the belt goes into at the top. You simply untwist the belt then feed the twist into the top and then FIXED.

I had this same issue on the drivers side like you, then I took to to Tesla and the issue somehow went to the passenger side, and when I serviced it the second time, now it’s back on the driver side. So I took it a third time and they’re now saying it’s normal and designed that way. Idk what’s going on. I’m going to pick it up from this third service soon, should I try to plead my case or just accept it?

Did you see my video? It takes less then 5 seconds to fix. I would call it "normal" like Tesla. More accurately..."Flawed but normal".

This response made me laugh! Same thing happened to me. You tell them to flip one side, and they flip both sides, so the problem keeps moving around. I’m glad it’s a reality easy fix.

I sort of works. it takes out the twist, but there is still one that in at the bottom which goes around the passenger's waist. my problem (vin under 2000) is that the bottom part of the strap is installed backwards so no matter how many times you adjust it it's still backwards.

One of mine was flipped, don’t remember which one but it was definitely there. I just saw that video about how to twist is back, I went out to try it and both are correct now. No idea how it got fixed lol. Maybe they fixed it at one of my service appointments and didn’t mention it?? I know it was flipped though, I saw a thread about it last year and that’s when I noticed mine was flipped and planned to add it to a service appointment, but I never did just forget about it… weird that it the correct position now…
