I'm not sure I would upgrade to 20.1. Just got back and check the app: 2 days sleeping.

I think I'm gonna wait for FSD upgrade, just don't want to mess with 14.11 while vampire drain is gone for now.
Why would you expect the issue to be added back? It's things like this that they are actively working and squashing right now. It may be even better!

Those settings I described are exactly what is shown on the Autopilot control screen on my Cybertruck. I'm a little puzzled why you would think that showing the actual screen on the truck or listing those settings could do anything but help someone get a good understanding of what functions currently work on the truck.

With that, I won't participate in any further discussion about this topic within this thread. I'll just wait quietly for the release of FSD for the Cybertruck.
I really wasn’t trying to shut you down. Simply trying to convey to the population that Cybertrucks do not have Autosteer or FSD.

20.1's release notes do not mention FSD or Autopilot.

Autopilot works on my truck. It didn't for the first 100 miles or so while the cameras were calibrating; this is normal, per the manual.
Rumor/hope is before end of Month FSD for trucks.

Yes, Tesla Displays Autopilot on the Cybertruck screen and only has TACC under it. I don't know why folks are arguing about that.

Obviously they have changes underway. They have stopped selling Enhanced Autopilot and the Cybertruck is awaiting FSD. They will likely add more under the Autopilot screen or under the upcoming FSD options.

Interestingly the vampire drain/30min sleep limit seem to have been addressed even prior to installing the update. How is this possible?
We’ve been assuming the firmware was keeping the truck awake, but perhaps it was getting upload requests from the Mothership and this activity had been paused or stopped? The FSD release for Cybertruck is (presumably) imminent, so maybe they don’t need the data anymore ?‍♂

My truck died after this update, I will stay away from recommending anyone from doing the update.
Oh no! Please elaborate with details. Let us know what it takes to make your truck alive again. Hope Tesla has put you on a priority list to get it fixed quickly.

Great update. I am trying to figure out how they make the AC more effective and make it quieter via a SOFTWARE update.
When you say AC quieter are you referring to the fan blowing or the compressor/whatever it's called noise? My fan blows pretty loudly but nothing out of the ordinary, BUT my compressor makes a whine that sounds like a foghorn that I can hear in the cabin a couple of times a minute. It's dwarfed by the fan noise if the fan is blowing hard but otherwise it's noticeable even with some reasonable-volume music playing.

There are a number of ways that Tesla can change the noise levels. There are the simple adjust the air-flow solutions, which can go a long way.
But there's also some motor control solutions that can be implemented. By presenting different waveforms to the motors, the sound of the motor can be altered dramatically.

Can confirm the AC unit is a lot quieter. It was honestly the only ‘noise’ factor I noticed when first driving the beast. At first I thought it was wind noise coming from window/windshield seal, but after isolating the problem to AC system by manually changing fan speed, I learned to manually adjust when needed.
I had the same noise coming from the HVAC system since I picked up the car 10 weeks ago. Tesla service ordered a "wet HVAC box" and said the HVAC pressure was too high causing the whistling noise from the HVAC system. I have been waiting on it for the last 6 weeks now. The noise from my car is very pronounced. I'm hoping this will help a little until the new part arrives. In my case, it was the only noise in the car, until I picked up the car back from service. Now I have a rattle on the dash and a scratch on the side plastic trim. Service caused both issues when they were diagnosing the noise problem.

Hoping since the update says “updating autopilot :driver assistance and dashcam disabled. Do not drive until complete”
Could this be it!?!
