With 160 miles of towing range hope it makes it to the next charger, where it will have to likely unhook, charge, and hook back up.

Really hoping someone posts some towing #s so we can see how much of a range loss it will be, typically bad with EVs.

Lack of decent range to start (500 miles) is going to be rough for people towing further than around the block.

Get a smaller pop up one and go twice as far? ;)

American RVs are a redonkulous waste of space and the epitome of poor packaging, excessive weight and bad aero design.

Buy a euro travel trailer.

The Coachmen Apex Ultralite travel trailer weighs about ~5500 lbs.
But that travel trailer has about the maximum Coefficient of Drag for most travel trailers. Franz and Lars mentioned that aero drag is a bigger factor in lowering range than weight is. I'd love to see their watts/mile graph. That trailer is probably about equivalent to the 30' AirStream Globetrotter I'm planning on dragging around the continent. ?

Whats the black box in front of the trailer?
The front black thingy is the power tongue jack. The middle one is the propane tank cover, the back black thing is battery cover.

This is what I had planned to do as well. I travel at least once or twice a year from New York to Iowa about 1,350 miles. How many times would I have to stop to charge? Maybe 9 or 10! How many more hours will it add to the trip? Our Camper weighs ~3600Llbs . As far as I'm concerned this is liable to be a deal breaker. The poor range takes all the enjoyment out of traveling with a camper. Elon has over promised and under delivered. I feel as though every time he needs more cash for building his Rockets the cost goes up on everything else. How many times have people had to pay for full self-driving when it's never going to happen. There are so many restrictions and requirements to using the full self-driving that it requires just as much effort to drive as a regular car. I'll be pushing up Daisies before they have that thing perfected. I put down my $100 reservation fee before I retired hoping that by the time I did retire I would have a Cybertruck to drive. I have now been retired two years and no cyber truck. I put down my reservation because it was Electric, affordable and had decent range. None of those things are true except for being Electric. I can easily afford to buy the Cyber truck even in this High interest rate economy but there is no longer any value to this truck as it is spec'd out. I don't plan on canceling my reservation because I'm sure it will still be a couple of years before they get to my number so I have a feeling things may change between now and then. We will see. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Don't get me wrong I'm not hating on anybody I'm just really disappointed. TTFN P.S. That wiper is fugly!

that’s exactly why I’m shelling out for the range extender
