Personally I wouldn’t use that top piece, once that is stainless it will stick out more and I think the black piece there is nice to blend from the bed cover into the dark glass. If it was stainless it would make the cover looked picture framed

But to each their own. You could order the whole set or just the pieces that look good to you're eye....

I think anything you're mounting a rack to should be robust/scratch proof but that's just me.

Truck is 16 gauge. Jasper wants to go 14 for durability... ya know... because it's a truck....

I really like this set up, and I don’t have crossbars so the sails will work fine. I have a wrap so not sure this will work for me at this time, but I would totally go for it if I still had stainless.
