Since this thread has a lot of responses, what interior mounts have people used successfully for the Starlink Mini?

We are going to be taking a vacation later this year and I plan to take the Mini off of the house (where I use it as a backup WAN connection) and put it in the Cybertruck. We'd be using it in areas where we have no coverage including at the cabin we will be renting.

I don't think I'm game for buying kits to hardwire it to the truck if I can just suction it to the interior glass for my one week adventure and power it with the Starlink AC/DC transformer and have to periodically turn the outlets on when it's parked.

I've had the ConTronX mounted on my rear canopy glass and above the sunshade for about a year, no issues at all.

Today I was out using the mini
Rotated rhe truck for optimal alignment as per the app
The app also said the angle is off, it’s parallel to the glass
Next I’ll adjust 2 of the 4 suction cups to adj the angle
I have it pointed out the rear of the truck
It’s 50/50 point front or back, free to pick

life with the mini

Don’t worry about angle. You’ll be driving around every which way anyway. Mines pointed straight up flat and level. It runs great.

This is why I used and a simple USB C cable to the rear outlet. Simple. There’s probably some other roof glass mounts that make it easier to remove the antenna if you wanted to take it with you. https://a.co/d/0UtJh1u

The magnets work on the dash!?
No. But the back ones do on the speaker grill/defroster thing. Hence that pic. I initially bought some adhesive ferrous plates i was gonna put under the cloth but found it held well with just those back magnets.

that looks great! Are the UBC outlets in the back powerful enough to run it and can you keep those powered on when parked?
Some people have reported that it's unreliable on the rear USB-C ports, but it does generally work. I'm using the 120V rear power port for it, that lets me turn it on or off with the outlets control from the main screen and it can be set to stay on for 12 hours after you leave the vehicle if you want.

Okay thanks, that's probably what I am going to do as well since the 120V outlet should definitely have no trouble providing the full 100 watts the Mini needs during peak power spikes.
