Hey. So its kind of getting annoying for me that EVERY time I exit the CT and I go to grab the outside of the door to close it, I always get a static shock. I know its dumb, but any way to prevent this? Like an easy way to ground my seat/me or something ?
A grounding mat or pad to slowly discharge the imbalance as you exit the vehicle. Everyone is going to be a little different; a grounding pad on your seat might work, or tapping a metal decorative ring to the steel, or having a carbon foam surface where you touch the inner door...

Basically, something with a moderate resistance, so when you touch the capacitance is slowly drained away without extra effort on your part. Like a workbench grounding strap, a seat cover, steering cover, something on the arm rest... Whatever works for you.

I personally carry a nickel or pocket knife that I can slip into my hand when grounding myself against a steel frame.

6) Yes, I don’t know how to fly yet.
That question was mostly for the people getting out of the vehicle when they get shocked since they may not have put their feet on the ground yet.

No never. I’m 300lbs of built in resistance but still- never ever once have I been shocked since Feb 2025 ownership and 8,000 miles. Darn. Maybe mines broken.
