read a review on sueded or alcantra steering wheels, it's definitely a choice but the reviewer disliked the suede on any touch surfaces as it can attract and hold skin oils, etc and actually become matted and dirty. i would think it would be kind of sticky when new, too. imma pass, but just my two cents on what i read.

Hopefully it’s designed similar to this (minus all the buttons) so you have parts of the squirkle to hold that won’t get gummed up with grime over time.
