You can keep your truck and have SC call you when the parts are in.
I asked them this but they said its a safety issue. If that weren't the case I'd keep it until the parts are in for sure.

So I picked up my CyberTruck on Saturday April 27th May 27th, and absolutely love it. I am coming from a 2018 Performance Model 3, and my wife has a 2021 Performance Model Y (which I love both of them). I have never had a truck, and frankly never even contemplated it until CyberTruck. I do love it! Unfortunately, this past Saturday (after having it for just a week), I was parked in a parking lot and put the vehicle in off-road "extract" mode, to lift the suspension. Still while parked, after a few minutes, I heard a "pop" and the suspension lowered with error message "Air suspension unable to raise. Functionality may be restored on next drive". I drove it about 8 miles to my nearest Tesla showroom (it definitely was a rough/bumpy drive, and gave me such appreciation for the comfort of the CyberTruck when the suspension doesn't have an issue). To my disappointment, Tesla service currently says it will take just over a month to get parts to fix this issue. I am not yet sure what parts, or specifically what the issue is, other than its estimated to be fixed by June 7th. After a two week delivery delay due to the pedal/containment hold, having the truck for all of one week, and now having it in service for over a month, it has definitely been an extremely bumpy ride (pun intended). My VIN for those interested is just over 3900. Hopefully this is an isolated issue and there isn't anything systemic.

Edited: to correct my original delivery date of April 27th (Not May 27th). Thanks Cboy7 for pointing it out.
can't you take it in when the parts arrive? Why would you have to leave an otherwise-functional CT in the shop for a month?

Tesla says it is a safety issue. I’m not sure if road bumps result in components touching that otherwise shouldn’t touch.

Just picked up today and have the same issue. Service center had me try a soft re-start - no luck. Second option they offered was just to wait a day or so and see what it does.

I’m stuck in entry mode which is super low, if I was in mid, wouldn’t be as big of an issue.

Don’t want to bottom out hard with all of my 2” of clearance ?

Juuuust got my car out of service for camera issues and now this.... Gotta be freaking kidding me.

- camera issues
- Tonneau cover issues
- Tonneau trim bulging out
- rattles and trim bulging out around windows
- failed suspension

Whats next :D
That sucks. If it makes you feel better, as I was "trying" to leaving the SC, mine had the overhead gear selector hanging out of place. It was fine when I initially dropped it off.

Mine just started rattling last night so going to add that to my long list of things for them to inspect at my month away visit ?

So what broke?

Happened to me in drive home 6/8. I'm guessing someone didn't do a push/pull test on one of the Voss fittings. Like 20 of them.

EDIT: yes, one of the hoses was not properly installed. Just needed to be pressed into fitting. Then charge nitrogen to 261psi. Not sure why it was 3 day service. Lame.

Just picked up my Cyberbeast and while raising/lowering I get a loud clang randomly not all the time, as if something is stuck then released, but it doesn't stop either the raising or lowering. I would appreciate if you let us all know what broke on yours, thanks !!!!!!!!!!

So forget it folks, I figured it out, the sound is when raising or lowering suspension the tires sliding out or in on the pavement due to the geometry of the suspension, nothing to worry about.

Yeah I did extract for a friend and heard some similar adjustment noises. No pops or anything. Interesting in the lines just not getting installed right. Thanks for adding VIN too.

Any update on this?

Went from occasional. “Air suspension unable to raise” to pretty much every drive. Service appointment is more than a month out.

I got my truck end of June and I’ve had it in the shop 3 times now for this issue. The first time they said my compressor was placed to close to the bed and that was what was causing the noise. They adjusted it and said it was resolved.
I get home and pull into the garage and it’s louder than ever. (Much louder with the window down but still annoying inside the cab)
I take it back in and they said the hose needed adjusting and they fixed it. Nope, I get home and it’s still making the noise.
It’s currently in service and they are replacing the compressor and bracket. Mine is a 16xxx VIN and they changed compressors and brackets on the later CTs. I hope this resolves the issue!
