Come on bro, your story is obviously fake, everybody knows you can't call Tesla and speak to anyone.

Everyone on hold will get this message either before the end of the year or before the FS ends.

Also, to anyone else who is going to be told you have to take delivery or forfeit your money. You ordered a FS and put $1k down for that. The non-FS has not been available to order.

The X shakes the passengers around on any road that isn't perfect, while making a bunch of noise/rattles. The CT glides over everything like magic, with very little body roll once you get over maybe 10 mph and the adaptive suspension starts to stiffen the shocks. (The tall side walls of the tires have a little flex on hard cornering, as expected, but the body roll is minimal).
My CT rolls me from side to side on every turn like the titanic, the X doesn't. I agree the X has rattles/noise and so does my CT

The same thing happened to me today. I was offered the cybertruck months ago and I was very eager after waiting 5 years (I ordered the night it was unveiled). It wasn't until I saw that I couldn't configure it the way I wanted and it would cost $100k instead of $80k that I stopped. At that time, I called Tesla and the rep I spoke to said I needed to put down $1000 to confirm I wanted a cybertruck and just not complete the process for delivery. He said the $1k would go toward a non-foundation series when it becomes available.

Now I get an email and text saying if I don't take the Foundation, they'll cancel it and my reservation. I called Tesla and am now told in order to get a non-foundation truck I have to cancel my order, lose the $1000 and reorder at the back of the line. After I make a new reservation, they can move me up but they're not saying how far or if I'd be in my original order position; no guarantees at all!

I previously owned Model 3 (wife got it in the divorce). What I want is a non-foundation & the extended range battery for towing. I've even told the resps I'm prepared to pay cash. I can't afford the foundation and the extended range battery. I could care less about FSD! I want the cybertruck, but this is WRONG! The customer shouldn't be treated this way. Can anyone help out here?
Read the contract. You paid a $1k non-refundable deposit to order the $100k or $120k model.

Your option is to go ahead and take delivery of a FS and apply your $1k deposit, or cancel your FS order and forfeit your $1k deposit.

Nothing that any $15/hr employee told you changes what is in that contract. A judge would laugh you out of court and give you a good lesson.

Tesla basically just told me to either take delivery of a foundation series truck or lose $1000 dollars and place a new order for a non foundation series truck when it comes out.

Is tesla in the right here?
They have been doing this all along.

I guess i wanted one at the time than i test drove one. Whatever dude if you think tesla is in the right here fine.. ill suck it down and lose the 1k, i like the truck but its worth waiting for the cheaper one at this point
You may lose more if you don’t cancel right away as there is the destination charge in play as well.

Its a non refundable deposit for a cybertruck, the foundation series is listed as a configuration option
Nope, it is a deposit for a specific Cybertruck. You weren’t asked for the deposit until you configured.
