As posted elsewhere on this forum.
I had my light bar installed on Wednesday (1/20/25), 8/27/24 delivery of CB. Still not connected to power yet. Weather is a bit chilly here in Florida to be working outside.
The method I used was to book the appt for the light install. Let them decide if it’s available or not. You may have to wait a few weeks to schedule the appt but it may take them a week or two to get the parts in. BTW, I never did receive a light bar notice.

has anyone gotten the long-awaited email to install the light bar?
or is it pretty much only because they asked and were persistent about it that they
finally got the light bar installed.
No email re this. I did get one for the wheel covers and I asked while I was there and made an appointment to get the light bar installed.

Glad you had a seamless experience. I just had an absolutely awful experience having my lightbar installed on my Beast. They refused to follow the new R2 procedure where they now solder the harness, even with me holding and showing them the new service document. I just posted a new PSA thread on this experience in hopes that no one else will need to go through the same.

It's going to either be a connection in the B pillar, or some soldering

Thanks. I didn’t receive any extra parts like the heat shrink tubes or off-road lightbar jumper. Does that mean they soldered it for me? What did your service note say? Mine said customer to solder. However, I didn’t get any extra parts.

How easy or difficult it was to remove the b-pillar to check if the harness is connected?

I don't have a light bar yet. But I do have the tools and parts due to my profession/ hobbies.

Same, it’s a bummer. Took delivery almost a year ago and have been told the same story. Today was my third attempt to add to my service order and even followed the instructions that worked for several other members here and nothing. Today they said that there is a redesigned light bar coming out and that they stopped producing the old type. No idea how true this is. Anyone else have any other suggestions or knowledge of this?

Can't wait to get mine installed but I'll wait as long as Tesla needs because chances are they will improve it or make the installation process smoother.

I keep hearing that, but as far as I know, that’s just chatter on these forums.

For those of you who did not received and connection instructions, I just googled lightbar connection on CT and it came up with a few videos that show you how to remove and reinstall the B pillar on the CT. I will be trying is this weekend when I purchase a 10mm socket for my tool set.

For those of you who don’t know if your lights have been soldered or not, send a note to the service folks where you had the work done and ask them if your wire jumper was soldered. I did that and received a reply within minutes.
