Not sure I can ever drive a daily car without FSD, an invaluable truck bed with secure cover, vehicle that can tow my boat, camp trailer and utility trailer, all without the hassle and cost of filling it with gas. Perhaps my needs are unique, plentiful and more robust than most but I’ve been ruined. Can’t go back to dial up internet…

So true, but only thing I will miss is the $30 per month charging every other day. LOL!

and to compromise the Model Y are quickly made, cool, crafty, but still cheap assembled junk.
The juniper is better put together than the CT was. We don’t have two by ‘accident’ 🤷🏼‍♂️

Y has been around since January 2020. Many improvements.

CT not so much. Was just a pipe dream from Nov 2019. Hasn't been around long enough.

Good to know, have had 2018 M3, and now the 2021 MY and both were awesome at first, but the more you drive, rattle here, creak there, maybe due to the suspension is at times awful. Take care.

I have a 21 M3P and we traded in a 21 Y on the first Juniper. The previous generations were not nice at all

Thanks, that is very promising to know, haven’t known anyone local who has one.

We owned (2) '21, 23, 24, and 26 MY. Everything before the 26 has a flat out unacceptable suspension including the laughable "comfort" suspension. The 26 finally has a good suspension but still has the characteristic front drive unit screech in cold weather that is quite unpleasant if you're young enough to hear it clearly. It's otherwise such a good daily driver appliance that it renders pretty much every other vehicle in that class obsolete.

Model Y, Model 3, and Model S are Tesla's best vehicles (in that order) because they have no gimmicks. Model X falcon doors are fun but compromise the whole vehicle from reliability and NVH. Cybertruck is awesome and I want one, but the stainless skin is a gimmick that resulted in an overly polarizing design and high costs. It's also too big for no good reason. If they made a Model Y based truck with V2L at Ranger or Maverick size for MYP money, they'd be selling above Model 3 quantities.

I'm sad to see Roadster fall into the same gimmick trap. All it had to be was a plaid drivetrain in an updated, bespoke chassis. Maybe change battery layout so driver can sit lower. Instead we get super dumb cold gas thrusters and other dumb shit for headlines. Tesla needs a Gwen Shotwell to better keep things on the rails.

Tesla had to make a choice between aviation grade structural adhesives, welding studs on all of the exterior SS panels (can-trail) or use external fasteners.
