I'm going to start making fake posts just for Torque News to steal. Like, "I got trapped in the vault, and had to eat my own foot to survive". Complete with photos and everything.
I was sooo thinking the same thing. I just figured everyone else would call me out on the bullshit post before torque news got to it.

I love it. I’m in. I’ll chime in with some discussion points about the caloric and protein content of the average human foot and how long one could survive on that. @Cybergirl can talk about how to find safe shelter on the road to the Arctic Ocean before Tesla roadside can respond.
@mongo can throw in some stuff about how to power a Starlink to contact roadside to start with and then we can get @dalton108 and @CT_AZ_4x4 to talk about how to sue the shit out of Tesla for the emotional trauma.

I would never sue Tesla!

But if given the chance I’d sue Torque “News” with payment in goats and Tesla credits.

You’re missing the point sir. Torque just has to THINK you’re going to sue Tesla and will instantly try make the article viral.

Like many here I had some extra Tesla store credits to burn from last year's Powershare install rebates. I wasn't sure what to do with my credits but finally decided to order a set of winter tires which came out to be about the same amount as my credit.
Those tires are listed here in the shop: https://shop.tesla.com/product/cybertruck-goodyear-duratrac-rt-tire
The ordering process makes you do it through the app so they can set up a service appointment. I went ahead and did that.
Once I received a message from the service team I responded in the app that I didn't need the tires installed but that I just wanted to pick them up take them home and save them for winter when I would then have my regular tires taken off my wheels and the winter tires installed at a local tire shop.
This was completely fine with the service team and they told me to come in any time to pick them up on that day.
That day was yesterday so I arrived around 12:30 to pick up my tires. I spoke to the person at the service desk who asked me "Do you want all the parts loaded into your truck or do you want us to assemble them?" - Huh? I replied. What do you mean?
The service person then proceeded to tell me - "Well do you want the wheels, tires and TPMS sensors loaded separately into the bed of your truck or do you want us to install the sensors and mount and balance the tires before taking them?"
Say what? I thought I ordered 4 tires?
Nope, you are getting the winter tire and wheel package.
ummm Ok, is there any change for assembling them?
Nope, that's all included, zero cost to you, do you want us to do it?
Uhhh Yes please.
Ok go have a seat in the waiting area...
Roger that!
Some time later they roll out my truck with 4 complete winter tire and wheels ready for me to take home and stack in my garage.
I don't know why Tesla did this but the service person assured me that this was correct. It seems like I saved some serious dollars and my swapping over to winter tires just got a heck of a lot easier as I will just dismount my standard wheels and mount the winter ones. I have no idea if Tesla will do this for others, but if you are considering a set of tires you might order what I did and see what shows up. You could be pleasantly surprised like I was!
Thank you Tesla! You never cease to amaze me! ❤😍💖

Oh also in the dealership on the floor model Cybertruck they had a Stainless Steel plate that says Cybertruck on it. I inquired and they said corporate sent it to them for displays, no idea if it will ever be available for purchase.

And yes 5 protestors sitting in their chairs holding signs. One of the signs said "End Racial Profiling" - I have no idea what that is all about as I didn't stop to ask.

My app says the winter tire package is $3250. That is for 4 tires 4 rims & the TPS stuff. I assume they would charge tax if your state charges sales tax

My 7 year old loves that game. Only problem is, I don’t cut him loose online unsupervised and there isn’t really offline play.
So it’s a fully immersive experience for me every time.
