is it possible we may not get some of the basics at this event, including:

  1. Price
  2. Range
  3. Performance/specs
  4. model variants to come including price, specs and ETA?

is it guaranteed we will get one two and three, with possibility of no info, on number four? If so, it makes it a tough call for early reservation holders to decide to take what is out or wait.

We've already seen what they post, 2019 release, nothing was accurate....2023, well sad to say, same. Nothing, until we get to order our spec vehicle. I know, Im sad too.

If this release event is anything like the Semi event last year. Tesla won't release a lot of info we want. Which will be very disappointing. I keep my expectations low, so I won't be as disappointed. Definitely a wait and see situation.

With any luck, Tesla is more serious about selling CT’s than it has been about Semis

The Semi is a very different category of product, so I am not sure it is a good example. Look at the Model 3 and Model Y for better examples.

That said, the Model 3 did not provide a ton of information during the presentation, in the past they mostly give the basics. Don't expect all the details to be laid out. Most likely we will get the following:

  • Price
  • Range
  • 0 to 60
  • Top Speed
  • Payload
  • Tow-Rating

Its possible they might demonstrate some stuff, though that would be different then past hand-over events.

They normally also begin updating the materials on the website at that time, and more details begin to emerge as people actually configure in the following months.

This is why I just put my order in June 2023 they should be really good after making 1 million of them.

I've waited four years, i better find out elon's shoe size.
Probably large, he’s got 9 kids. Hence the cyber van is in the works.
