Looks like the VIN search is active again on Tesla's website. But maybe not for CT's.

I agree with many in this thread that tracking Order to Delivery Date is slowing down substantially. All of the deliveries are for 12/8 (first batch) time frame. Additionally the time is slipping, it was previously 30-45 days and now it is near 60-days+. They have not even made it to Wave-2 around 12/15. The ramp does not appear to be starting yet. Therefore I agree during the earnings call they may be near selling out for all of 2024, mainly due to manufacturing difficulties at this time. Hope I am wrong of course.

Has anyone received updates on Tesla's delivery timeline for the December 8th CyberBeast orders? I've been a Tesla customer since 2018 and have purchased several vehicles from them, but this is the first time I've encountered such a lack of communication post-final payment. They prompted me to get ready for delivery, took the final payment, and now, there's silence regarding the arrival date.

In anticipation, I sold my previous car and am currently using my wife's 2023 Model Y Performance, as she doesn’t need it for her remote work. The situation is far from ideal.

Given this, I'm contemplating whether to continue waiting for the CyberBeast or switch my order to a Model X. Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated!

I’m suprised they would already ask for the final payment? Did they give you a vin?

No VIN yet. I’m assuming the app asking for final payment was a glitch but either way, payment was made 7 weeks ago.

I don’t mind waiting another month or so. Some info from Tesla would be greatly appreciated.

For now wife is being patient so I have some time lol

At current savings account rates, 5% over 3 months is $1500 in lost income, minus taxes (put in a kids name to potentially avoid). Paying 1.5% more than the rest of us. Financing would have been better.

Agreed. I actually get even more than 5% with my Amex checking account

I'd reach out to your local Tesla to ask what is going on. Or a possible temporary refund (probably not going to happen). This isn't at all acceptable in my opinion. Even with the Cybertruck

I texted my delivery center. “Waiting for delivery timeline from HQ for your CyberBeast”

This really is unfortunate set of circumstances (putting it as nicely as possible). Makes me think I'm not forking over my $100k until I see my CT, if I can. Wonder what the limits are. When do they require payment and what happens if you are a little slow? My first loan approval expired 4 days ago. Good luck with Tesla and getting your CB.
