I booked mine in the first 5 minutes, but I'm still anticipating it being closer to a December delivery.

I'm picturing getting my email on thanksgivings day, or perhaps some other equally inconvenient time.

I got my Model Y in Mid june and i live in texas.. picked it up at the local Tesla service Center in fort worth.. so they modified SOMETHING

yeah maybe it has some tax consequences or something for Tesla, but otherwise for buyers I understand it amounts to needing to do their own registration and state sales taxes etc

YEP when I went to register my vehicle I had to pay sales Tax of 6.8% OUCH that is the tax in fort worth.

overall the experience was easy peazy.. picked the car up at the service center... looked it over validated the vin drove it home.. 1 week later the paperwork came for registration.. i took it to the DMV took less than half an hour to wait in line fill out paperwork and leave with tags in hand.. drove to tesla service center and they put the tags on for me.

Be Interesting to see how closely the number follows delivery dates. I know there are several factors considered in addition to the number, but hopefully people with numbers twice as high as mine won’t take delivered of their truck before me??

The Reservation Tracker says I'm in corrected position 10,013, and in position 1,352 for a dual motor CT. Will I have the opportunity to upgrade to a tri-motor if that is the first trim level to be produced?

Day 3 reservation holder here. I am shooting for Jan/Feb 2025. That is why I put it my profile that my vehicle is a 2025 Cybertruck.

I will do everything I can though to possibly get it delivered in 2024 sometime.

I think you'll get it a lot sooner. I ordered mine a month after reveal and I expect to get mine in 2024. You have to factor in drop outs and international orders.

My guess is they will contact people in order, letting you configure whatever is available at the time (or not).
