Likewise. There are so many vehicles I’d consider were it not for FSD but like you said, I have blinders on.
The ID buzz has some charm to it, the Cadillac IQ looks like an awesome large SUV, the R1s is like an EV version of a 4 runner, the ev9 has some nice utility at a good price but I want none of them.
FSD is such a game changer for me.
I really hope they don’t apply the same boneheaded logic they did to the supercharger network and license FSD to other manufacturers because it would be a complete death blow to Tesla car sales.
They keep saying they don’t care but I bet you investors would.
In watching an older Munro youtube video with the Tesla Engineering and design team (great video BTW) the most salient point made regarding Sandy's question about licensing FSD Tech was the unprecedented level of software/hardware integration in Tesla's makes the licensing of software nearly impossible.

A prime example is how long it took Tesla to get FSD working on the Cybertruck. WIth Steer By Wire, Rear Wheel Steering and the 48V architecture, it took them a couple of years to get their own "new design hardware" functioning properly with FSD. Imagine the difficulty of integration with a whole new hardware, software platform ... even AI would choke on that one.

My recent Cybertruck order was prompted by my demo drive of a Cyberbeast that was running the same FSD version as my 2025 Model Y (14.2.2.4). I spent half of that drive testing out Grok prompted FSD navigation and the other 30 minutes just driving myself. Both were very satisfying experiences that sealed the deal on my Cybertruck order that evening. Actually, the Beast was scary (rhymes with unnecessary) fast which I do not need/want in a daily driver.

An even larger 8 seat CyberSUV like this is what Tesla SHOULD be making ... albeit with carefree stainless body panels. I hope Tesla starts making such a modified Cybertruck ... along with a smaller boxy SUV 'Jeep' along the lines of the new Rivian R2. AMERICANS LIKE BOXY SUVs. Some species of easily replaceable non-metallic composite body panels like the new SLATE truck would be a great idea too. Because of this pending competition from Rivian and Toyota ... MIGHT some new hint of new Teslas other than the Roadster be given on April 1st? I hope so. If that new Toyota EV Highlander had the same self-driving tech as a Tesla (it does not) ... I would be a likely customer.
No.

Tesla is not going to release new vehicles with pedals or steering wheel outside of the roadster.

Elon and others at Tesla are adamant about this. Tesla is no longer a car company.

Agree but would add ...

With the upcoming Rivian R2 and Toyota EV Highlander ... MIGHT Tesla give some hint of similar SUV competition during the April 1st Roadster reveal? I'd go for a BIG 8 seat (two bench-er) CyberSUV morphed out of a Cybertruck for us CyberSoccerGrandpas ... and some species of Wrangler-sized CyberJEEP that can crawl to any distant fishing hole ...

Elon may say no new steering wheels or pedals ... but that simply may not be legally possible for a few years out. We just cannot know. Look at how Elon was so adamant in his forecasts about other Tesla timelines.

Another thing we cannot know with certainty ...
Is the Model 2 or CyberCab or Cybertaxi or RoboTaxi ... is this 2 seater really an 'anti Osborne effect' cover story for a new generation of Teslas? I think so .... but WE cannot know so ... right now. Tesla is remarkably good at keeping marketing secrets.

On the above post I assume the Cybercab is a 2 seater. So if the ladies I know are having a ladies night out and there are 3 ladies where is the 3rd person to sit? At least in a model Y cab there is a front and back seat. So I assume it can hold at least 3 or 4 people at once.

Does Elon assume in the future there will only be a maximum of 2 people going out at a time that need a cab....LoL
