Hello everyone,

I’m a big fan of Sprayway+Costco microfibers to keep my CT shining and smudge free. But MAN I can’t take the standard “Fresh” scent, haha!!

So I ordered a can of Lavender and Lemon Scent to try out. I also got a trigger spray bottle of Sprayway to see if it worked any better (I had heard that the trigger bottle scent was less severe).

Results:

- Lavender Scent: Lavender is WORSE than Fresh Scent, haha!! Wow is it bad. I told my wife, she said, “Oh I like lavender, I’ll take it.” She used it once and said she was throwing it away!!

- Lemon Scent: The BEST!! Very light scent, almost unscented really. And, maybe it’s just confirmation bias at work, but I *think* it cleans just a bit better than Fresh Scent!!

- Trigger Bottle: Much lighter Fresh Scent than the aerosol can, but still stronger than Lemon. However…it makes a huge mess. It‘s hard to not get globs of foam everywhere you don’t want it. See my test spray on the right/rear quarter panel. What the trigger bottle IS good for is getting a lot of product down on a big surface, like the windshield.

BOTTOM LINE: Lemon Scent Sprayway FTW!! Trigger bottle can be useful for large areas (just be careful about overspray), but not necessary.

Spray away is the best in between spot cleaner I’ve found as well. Usually after any newb gets into the cyber I have to spot clean their oil ridden fingers.

Thanks for the overview. I am with you on the odor of the original being a bit much. Next time I order I will be looking for the lemon version.

Thank you. I had regular in my cart, but will switch to lemon. Is there something in like a chemical guys waterless car wash that is bad for the SS? Asking because stuff like that doesn't have a bad scent.

Yeah, the Lavender smells like an 85 year old woman's perfume. Nasty.
