Supposedly there was code found in the app a month or so back referencing metal key cards for the Cybertruck. I have not seen/heard anything since though.

At the delivery event some people got stainless steel if badges and some thought that Tesla may make the Cybertruck key cards that way. There was never any further information yes or no but it was an interesting idea.

The idea of a stainless steel card is great until I remember the only time I used the card for my model 3 was at valet stands.

Don’t think I would want them haphazardly hitting the door pillar and glass with a metal card no matter how tough it is.

Good point. Fortunately for me I need valets only when vacationing and then it is a rental car.
