Don't listen to the techs that say if you loosen them up, it will not make a difference, they are wrong. Been dealing with this since the truck was new, 14 months and 39000 miles now. They replaced four of them and same deal. I had enough, got out a 10mm allen key and loosened them up half a turn, and bingo! The move freely and the bed is still tight. There are 6 other bolts holding the bed in place and they are all as tight as possible. This was such a big deal for me, trying to strap bicycles, 58 gallons of fresh water tanks, furniture and so many other items and I could not even budge them without a screwdriver or bar. They were ridiculously tight.
Now I just have to try to adjust the rails to fit the bed dividers...ANYWHERE and EVERYWHERE in the bed instead of ONLY the last holes in the front of the bed or over the trunk.
