Nano-Etched Glass for extremely hydrophobic windshield.

Hope they consider Nano-Etched Glass (engineered nano-scale surface texturing) for a durable and extremely hydrophobic (water repellent) Cybertruck windshield. This could potentially eliminate the need for windshield wipers.

It would likely take significant research and investment to produce such a glass product at scale, but I think Tesla's Glass division can do it. It would be another wonderful differentiator for Tesla's automotive vehicle products.

They will always need a wiper to keep the forward-looking camera clean.

I've used RAIN-X before with good results, but it needs to be reapplied about monthly to maintain the hydrophobic effect.

Nano-etched hydrophobic, sound and heat insulated, transparent aluminum. Now there is a windshield I could get behind. Give those qualities to all the windows and I'd be super happy.
