I got mine done yesterday by the Jacksonville FL SC. Everything they did so far looks good and it is working fine. No more leaks in the vault ether (I tested). I had much water leaking in before fix. Pics of invoice also for this fix. They started fixing at 11:00 am and finished at 1:00 pm.

Before slat fix done:

After slat fix done:

Water intrusion before fix:

Water intrusion after fix (pretty much none):

Tesla provides an invoice and everything was on it that they did in detailed. I included it in my post above.

Now, that's a good service tech to check and replace the seal on the appliqué!

Big difference t

big difference to work done on my truck with similar leaking problem ( still leaking )
what next go back ?
First you should remove the invoice that has your personal info on it from your post.

Then I would create another service ticket and meanton the Applique seal might need to be checked also for water leakage issues.

This is what SC did to mine:
Concern: Customer states: Applique seal might need to be checked also for water leakage issues.
Repair Notes: Found that there was still too much water coming into the rear bed wall. Removed
roof applique and replaced seal that was not properly applied. Water tested again to see only a
very small but acceptable amount of drops coming through. Please note, the cover is not
completely waterproof, it is normal for a very small amount of water to enter the bed.

I brought mine to the nearest SC yesterday, Sherbrooke, PQ. They told me they had never heard of this issue. Then they told me they all are like that. When I showed them the sales inventory did not look like that, they said it was because only the Cyberbeast has tonneau cover that covered the entire vault, other cybertrucks tonneau cover almost cover the vault. Lies piled upon lies. It took them an hour and a half to fix nothing.

This is similar to my experience. I just washed my CT yesterday and the bed had a large amount of water in it. This was after I've gone through the tonneau fix, which was with a Beast BTW.

Either Tesla is full of liars or this forum is full of liars. I can't figure it out.

My SC added the extra slat and titled it as “slat rework.” So they are doing fixes. No reason for anyone lying here about it

I think there is confusion in that the missing slat (wherein the metal channel with the holes is exposed) is not the source of water getting in to the vault. In my case, they added the extra slat, but it still leaked like a sieve. The issue was the seal between the roof glass and the aeroflap.

Again, this is easily testable by opening your tonneau cover, standing in the bed, and pouring a glass of water along the roof - on the glass of the roof - above where it meets the aeroflap. In my case, water just poured in to the bed through the gap. I believe it's because the 'foam seal' under the aeroflap was put on incorrectly.

I just had the additional slat added to the Tonneau as well yesterday and can confirm mine still leaks alot. Found this solution on Youtube for waterproofing the area and thinking of attempting it as well:

Just got my truck back this morning after service for multiple small things noticed at delivery. I requested an additional slat due to assuming I am missing one based on mine looking exactly like the picture posted by OP. Service center denied it and stated that it was normal. I haven't had any significant rain yet to determine if it leaks so I guess I'll wait and try again later with another SC.
