What caught my eye was "Rear Passenger Headphones". This is important if you have people in the back wanting to watch Disney, but you don't want the entire truck listening. Currently if someone is watching something in the rear the truck plays/uses the speakers in the back. This will allow for people hopefully to be able to connect via bluetooth their Apple AirPods to the rear display.

The 125 degrees in my truck told me it definitely was not working. It's not even summer yet either!
Did you really hit 125 degrees?
In March that is bad unless you somehow exported the truck to the Sahara.

Yes I noticed it several times in a row when we were in the 80/90s in Texas a couple of weeks ago. I immediately thought oh I need to turn it on. There was no option. So investigated further and looked at the Tesla API via Home Assistant and noticed the sensor for Cabin Overheat was not populated for some reason. This made me beleive it's not available yet.

For those curious I have 83 sensors exposed through the API for my CT where my M3P and my MS P100DL have 85 exposed. I have not tried to compare if they overlap or if there is anything new etc...

I'm pretty sure that Cabin Overheat doesn't mean that it won't get to 125.
And so what, the truck is built to handle it. Get in the truck and it will be cooling in less than 30 seconds, if that's not enough, hit the button on the app as you walk to the truck.

Cabin Overheat with A/C just sucks that battery down. Lots of people switch it to just fan.

you're right, it's super unreasonable of people to want a feature that works in every other tesla to work in the cybertruck.

Hey, all I did was indicate how it worked in the other cars.

What about Dog mode? What's the difference with overheat mode? Power requirements?

Cabin Overheat Protection is a lower energy consumption version of Pet Mode. Pet Mode cannot be set higher than 80 degrees if I recall. Cabin Overheat Protection also has the option to simply rn the fan without the A/C to vent the cabin with ambient air so it doesn't get as hot. That's the mode I use in the summer and then just cool it down with A/C remotely before I approach the vehicle.
