Some folks look for things to cry about??I picked up my AWD Cybertruck on Saturday and it is FREAKING FANTASTIC! The only complaint that I have is that the headlights (both main and high beams) are pretty weak compared to my Model 3 and Y (which are very bright). They are useable, but by no means impressive.
Anyone else have the same thoughts?
I'm really not. I don't drive at night often so it isn't a huge deal. Some folks look for things to cry about??
Did you try to measure the lumens of your vehicles' headlights?I'm really not. I don't drive at night often so it isn't a huge deal.
Does any of that really matter if my subjective opinion isn't good?Did you try to measure the lumens of your vehicles' headlights?
- Get a light meter or use your phone.
- Tape it at the same height of each vehicle' headlights on a wall/garage door/fences ...
- Keep your vehicles parked at the same distance about 3 feet from the light meter.
- Record the readings and let us know.
No, it doesn't.Does any of that really matter if my subjective opinion isn't good?
NOT AT ALL!!! Headlights on Cybertruck are fantastic, first thing I noticed was how bright they are. Perhaps yours need adjustment.I picked up my AWD Cybertruck on Saturday and it is FREAKING FANTASTIC! I don't think I can adjust the low beams without blinding other drivers. The cutoff looks like it is where it should be.NOT AT ALL!!! Headlights on Cybertruck are fantastic, first thing I noticed was how bright they are. Perhaps yours need adjustment.
...That's actually better for you, as a driver - they have less distance to get the the pavement than when they're mounted higher, and will illuminate less fog. (If only the DRL turned off for fog and snow!)Part of the problem is how low they are mounted...
