Last 4 of VIN: 03XX
RN11275xxxx
Location: Folsom, CA
Ordered: 12/08/2024
VIN assigned: 03/21/2024
Delivery: 03/31/2024

I was worried that it would not fit in the garage... the length is definitely more of an issue than the width...

My views so far: (I was driving TM3/TMY before, so that's my reference point)
--> +s:
- Amazing to drive, super comfortable ride.
- Amazing sound system; especially the back seats are really good to enjoy, especially as the back seems a bit darker.
- Love the black interiors on the pillars and upper interior in general, TM3/TMY has the light gray.
- Acceleration is out of this world, so much so that I was scared to drive that fast... goes 100 in no time. I am driving in standard mode for now, beast mode will take some time to break... ;)
- Back seat controls for fan are now just like the front, love it.
--> -s:
- The motors either are too noisy (maybe it's the beast with 3 motors?) or the cabin is so quiet that it makes the motors sound noisy. I don't listen to music all the time, but if you turn on music or open the windows, that masks the motor noise.
- Gets dirty super fast, best dirt magnet I've seen. Will be getting a clear PPF soon.
- Wifey is short, lack of handles is an issue for getting in and out of the vehicle, even with vehicle set to "Entry" for the ride height.

So far, enjoying every minute I'm driving it. Definitely a head turner, some people approached me while at the supercharger and had a good chat. Been a positive experience so far talking to them. General trend seems like people who know what it is are amazed to see it, even take pictures and videos; other don't care at all...

There were definitely spots all over the vehicle that needed some cleaning... the detailer was unable to get one spot above the front passenger wheel and did mention that it will come off with the "Bar Keepers Friend", he didn't want to do it as it would have made it more shiny and then it would have shown off more prominently as the sheen on the rest of the side would not have matched. I'll try to take care of it, if not, will take it back and have them fix it.

Do let me know if there are any requests for something specific.

More to come...

Thanks for the impressions. I did see a video posted today on YouTube by everyday Chris that went through cleaning and repairing scratches and smudges that I think is useful.

Yeah the motors are noisy on the cybertruck especially the beast. I love the sound. I think Tesla did it deliberately. But in addition to the normal whine I've noticed with most cybertrucks that there is this hmm sound while accelerating especially at higher speeds like 60-70 mph especially which gets a bit annoying to listen to in some reviews. I don't know what is causing that but maybe when they tried to make it louder they forgot to mask that "hmm" sound or maybe its just an issue with the drivetrain. That is the sound which gets more prevalent in youtube channel JerryRigEverythings towing video due to towing. But in youtube channel DBLCAPCRIMPINs cybertruck while towing you only hear the normal whine. Maybe they'll add a little more sound deadening or fix the drivetrain issue so you only hear the whine in future production cybertrucks. Then it'll be sounding just perfect again for me. But its nowhere as noisy as an ICE car. I also found out from Brandon youtube channel Tesla Flex that they get louder at higher speeds due to the front permanent magnet motor doing the driving.

Yeah, makes sense.

I think it will eventually improve with time. The next revision of the CT will definitely have much more improvements...

For me, the noise was something unexpected coming from TM3/TMY... will need some getting used to...

Yeah I own a model 3 so I know the difference. Maybe a bit more masking the motor might be nice tbh. Also, maybe if you do a video of it especially at higher speeds it would be nice. I love listening to the sound.

The funny thing was the 2019 prototype cybertruck had some motor noise but that sounded more like 3 and y and was quieter motors. This sounds different even the dual motor does to, wonder if they used completely different motors.

So, the truck is back from the wrap shop... it still needs to cure for a couple of days, bit as mentioned earlier, adding some new pics with the wrap.

Just an amazing vehicle overall so far.

Looks very good, just curious, what the size of your garage. I am waiting for my VIN, hopefully in a month. Thanks.

I have a older house, but got lucky with a bigger size garage... approx. Dimensions: depth-24', width-24'. Opening is 16.5'Ă—7'.

Seems like the deliveries on NorCal have picked up like crazy... yesterday, I saw 3 different CTs on 3 different times, definitely 3 different owners. And all within 5 miles radius.
