Am I the only one who doesn't have this issue?
2 weeks ago my wife was driving the CT while I was the passenger. She didn't intervein like I would have and the tire rubbed the right side curb. It will hug the lines or leave the lane a couple times per drive. Her Model Y does much better with FSD.

I'm on 2025.8.7

Just did 500 miles from Orlando to Atlanta.

I had about 3 rides over the rumble strips. It was all while passing semis on the left in the passing lane. I didn't notice it doing it any other times. It did seem a little too close to the left line of the lane sometimes. But not all of the time.
Just noting that when you're passing semis, you're fighting the big wind cushion they create. My CB generally stays pretty centered, but I've noticed it fighting wind on bridges. I think they're not great at quickly adjusting to lateral wind forces.

I don’t either based on the rainbow road setting always centering within the lanes. Those who have the problem have probably tried recalibrating their cameras and rebooting so I wonder why they have the problem and we don’t? Luck if the draw?

New update for FSD, I’ll see if my issues still persist.

No. I’ve never recalibrated my cameras and I didn’t have this issue until probably three releases ago. Also, the AWD that they gave me for a loaner about a month ago had the same issue.

I do not feel its a calibration issue because when the truck leaves a lane or hugs a line it shows itself doing this in the UI representation. That tells me it understands exactly where the truck is in relation to the lane. I suppose its possible the code that positions the truck in the graphics and the code that drives the truck are not directly related.

Agree. All I know is it’s frustrating and it’s really annoying that it’s taking them so long to fix it.

It’s also weird that it isn’t affecting everyone universally and those who aren’t seeing it really don’t have a frame of reference of how bad and annoying it is.

It really does make it unusable and it’s such a simple thing! Get your ass in the center of the lane and stay there! What are you even doing! Why would this be happening [rhetorical]???!!!

Am I alone with this issue? I have used FSD in my model y and it’s spot on dead center. The cybertruck seems to be wanting g to ride the line to almost hitting the rumble strips. Is this just software or something more series like cameras are not calibrated properly?

CT's FSD's desire to always be in the left lane the when it's in the laft lane, it must drive on the left line.

I still have not had access to the new release but on my truck it only hugs the left side of the lane if it ā€œsees ā€œ a double white line of a HOV lane. Then it gets excited and says, I’m going to scare the sā€ out of all those HOV commuters! Then it stays on the linesā€ I have learned from that why some truck owners have those rows of decals on their fenders of ā€œbirdsā€ showing a visual record of the number of angry HOV drivers
It does seem like a simple fix could be had ( coming from me a guy who can’t program a toaster).

I had the issue with it staying centered and riding lines on and off the highway mid-releases V13 (4-5 months ago). I did a recalibration about 2 months ago, and that did not seem to work. However, about a month ago, it started staying in the middle of the lane everywhere except one particular skinny road. The screen even shows it hugging the line or riding on the line on that road. That particular road is scary as it has no berm. The only other problem is on non-lined roads like my development. It tends to hug the edge when on the curves. Finally, still hate the left turns that cut off and across the double yellow lines, scaring most cars that it is cutting across. Also, on right-hand turns after the last two updates started to do a little quick adjustment when it is 90 degrees or objects are on the corner. It used to be completely smooth. Overall, it drives great and nearly always center lane for me now. I am looking forward to the summon, destination parking, quicker self-parking(Model 3 is quick), and more recognition of the steering radius of the CT.
