I'm not as worried about fingerprints but more of the oily, nasty road grime. How well is this thing going to stay looking new vs getting a wrap to cover up the nastiness is my concern.
I have a SS upright tool box I know 1st hand how it will look getting oil and grease on it. I am thinking of Line X Ultra which is thinner than the truck bed spray that is marketed as a paint alternative it is popular in the Jeep community

Have you thought of washing it from time to time?
There has been some talk of companies offering a DIY wrap kit, with all of the flat areas of the CT I would guess it wouldn’t be too difficult. IMO be patient and not be in a hurry

Yeah I'm curious on what kind of maintenance will be required for this kind of SS. I worked in kitchens in high school so I know how bad SS can look, hopefully it won't be that bad

If you are considering wrapping your Cybertruck and live in Northern California/Bay Area, I would recommend you contact Paint Protection Concepts. http://www.paintprotectionconcepts.com/gallery/
I had them put clear film on two of my current vehicles. Will plan to have them wrap my Cybertruck (Machine Head) 😎

A Plum Crazy Cybertruck wrap would be cool.

I can’t wait to see how owners personalize their Cybertruck’s. Except for wheels every Cybertruck coming out of the TX assembly plant will look identical.

The photos I've seen of dirty Cybertrucks look better than sparkling clean ones. Something about the stainless steel just goes well with dirt.

I love that wrap, but I'm a getting too old for it.

My wife would want Buddhist Lotus leaves or something. Shoot me now.

I’m going to install a hood scoop on my CT just to confuse people.

I think it would be cheaper to spray the truck with adhesive and cover it with dollar bills.
Use the right glue and it could increase its resale value by a bit.

About how many dollars is the increase? Measure the total area of the stainless steel exterior in square feet. Multiple that by nine :p

I like the pure aesthetic of stainless steel, but want to see the creative wraps of others.

I have thought of experimenting with a temporary, disposable poor man’s wrap for special occasions. Colored shelf paper in pastels for Easter, orange for Halloween, red and green for Christmas. Could be a fun family activity. ‘Grab a can of spray paint and shelf paper, kids. We’re going to make a Batmobile!”

This would definitely be a eye catcher, :) Would we need to pay Bat Man for the logo?

I think he would appreciate the free publicity as long as we kept the traffic violation to a minimum.
