In recent photos showing CT, it certainly appears that god awful massive wiper blade could be a visual obstacle when turning to the left? I heard or read somewhere, that it could possibly be easily removed and stowed (hope so) any word?

Almost all wiper arms are removable.

I doubt Tesla would make this particularly easy though because it would potentially blind Autopilot/ FSD.

I think the wiper will be invisible for the driver, the A Pillar is pretty massive.

Now that massive A pillar is going to impact the view for the driver for sure.

In Australia, maybe only Australia, we put a _SNORKEL_ there ( for good looks....around the corner)

DownUnder on ICE 4WD Vehicles, we put a SNORKEL right there!

As Ogre Said, AP and FSD require a wiper.

I'm hoping that it's just a flip down stow door, like an F22 missile rack. The Model Y wipers fold down into the tray behind the frunk hood already, so I don't see why a similar trick couldn't be done with the king Dorito.

I’m still hoping Tesla has an ace up their sleeve on the wiper…but if not hopefully a cool aftermarket option turns up. Either way CT will still be an awesome starship on wheels.

I don’t think Tesla is going to add a mechanism to hide the wiper.

Why? Same reason I don’t think they will implement a million other features (midgate, PTO, deployable drone, built in winch, indoor plumbing, etc). Tesla is laser focused on delivering an affordable truck and little mechanisms to hide the wiper add to the cost and maintenance on a truck which is designed to be low maintenance and affordable.

Tesla is going to avoid death by a thousands paper cuts and keep the truck straight forward and the price low.

Also… I seriously doubt they’d have the prototypes driving around and getting photographed if they were planning on tucking this beast away.

Theres also a dry toilet, which uses a 5m mylar bag tube and twists itself around your business every time you go. No water, no flush, no smell, no cleaning bowl, no chemicals no sawdust and no need for disposal down a drain. Just be warned the bag system costs $4 per use. Like printers they get you with the cartridges.

Is there a chip in there that makes the bags go bad even if you haven’t really used them?
