No matter what people say, it is fantastic.
"There is a principle which is a bar against all information, which is proof against all arguments, and which cannot fail to keep a man in everlasting ignorance—that principle is contempt prior to investigation." - William Paley

The Cybertruck is the best driving experience of any vehicle I have ever owned and it's not even close. It literally redefines the driving experience. Because of this, it is nearly impossible to explain to someone why it is so great. It is like describing a rainbow to someone color blind.

Well, that one was gone within a couple hours of seeing it. Guess I'll keep watching. Thanks, guys.

I have almost 24,000 miles on my Beast. I've had it just over a year. ZERO rattles. Though, if I'm being 100% honest, my wife's sunglasses rattled when she kept them in the door but not in the glovebox. That may be more of a comment on the quality of her sunglasses than the truck.

OH! Also, every few weeks, my steering column gives a couple or rattles at a certain speed. I just kind of give it a push and it goes away... for several weeks. It's just barely there and so rare.

But, hey! Great truck!

These are the issues I had or have had since I took delivery in June of my FSAWD:
  • Missing all "Premium Accessories" including mobile charger
    • SC ordered and installed accessories
  • Dings to back bumper
    • SC replaced rocker panel, cover, and rear fascia
  • Vibrating side mirrors at high speeds
    • SC confirmed and tightened loose bolts.
  • Missing tonneau slat, causing water intrusion in truck bed
    • SC installed missing slat
  • Scratches and dings on wheels
    • SC replaced all 4 wheels
  • Rust on all 4 wheel hubs
    • SC said known issue. Either purchase hub cap covers or keep wheel covers on.
  • Phone not charging and getting hot
    • SC replaced phone charger with HW5 charger
  • Windshield wipers streaking when wiping
    • SC replaced wipers
Overall the issues have all been handled by the service center free of charge, just been a hassle needing to schedule and drop of the truck. They have provided a loaner every time, but going without my truck for 3+ days has sucked every time, especially when they tell me the reason for the long wait time is because they are swamped with work. They could easily just tell us to drop off our vehicle on the day they plan on actually working on it. In spite of all that though, I do not regret getting the FS whatsoever! Free lifetime charging! Lifetime premium connectivity! Included FSD. Not sure about current promos, but I got 0% financing! No brainer!

Is it a beast or an AWD? I have a buddy that might pull the trigger or a FS Beast if he could find one.
@panabax As of right now, Tesla inventory has a Foundation Series Cyberbeast available for immediate pick-up in Miami Gardens, FL (search for zip code 33169).

It's listed as a demo, but with only 45 miles on the odometer. $108,000 including white decor, FSD, and free Supercharging.

How do I buy that? I'm in Ohio.

Not sure, but if you scroll to the bottom of the vehicle page, there's a button for "Need more information? Request a callback". They will get your name, phone number, and email and get back to you. Or you could contact the Miami Gardens store directly.

My guess is that you would have to be prepared to pick the vehicle up in Florida and get it to Ohio yourself.

With free supercharging and all of the other perks that are coming with it? Yes! 100%!

Nothing compares for twice the price.

It doesn’t scratch every itch FOR ME though. If Scout was manufacturing and selling vehicles with an actual 500 mile range today, the answer would be, “no.”

But they are not, and they may not ever. 🤷🏾

Except it’s just as bad. Had it done to my truck.

Surprised to see in inventory in my area a Foundation Series, still showing as a 2024 new vehicle obviously. Would you buy one of these now? My fear: I'm sure there have been many small process improvements made on the production line along the way, and an older vehicle would not be as rattle-free or built up to current quality levels. Thoughts?
Yes…do it immediately if still possible

Put in a service request through the app if not urgent or call Tesla roadside number if urgent.
