Why did you abandon that sad little account?
*tries to remember what in Q1 of 2020 might have caused a reprioritization of interests*

couldn't believe I would reply to you without immediate gratitude to your opinions
their comment clearly wasn't about the bare fact that you replied, or that you replied "without immediate gratitude"

just kinda over-replied

Why is this ramping up man.,.. lol. I am actually not even as mad as I was when I started this. I was extra mad when I started this because I was getting calls from friends who got their orders yesterday while I was skipped.

I think everyone needs to chill the F out now. I am seriously not sure why this is ramping up. Can someone explain?
LOL. I like the: "everyone chill the F out now."

Split personality?

Who orders pizza at Costco ????

But, if I ordered a large pepperoni in 2019 for $1.99 and came back 4 years later to pick it up and then had to wait only to find out it's $9.99 I'd be pissed and I'm sure many more here would agree!
ESPECIALLY if the pizza had no ramp!!!

I agree with you.

But, I also know the next part of the story: they offer to give me my $1.99 back, I look around and find that every other pizza shop is selling stale pizza without any of the toppings I want for the same $9.99. So, if I’m hungry for a pizza, I’ll just suck it up and wait for my turn a little longer to get exactly what I’ve been waiting for all these years…

@Green-Mario

I’ve been brainstorming this question, and here are a few of the metrics I would consider using if I was in charge of the delivery at Tesla. Unclear on the legality of a few of these…

If I were Tesla I would consider using a LLM or other transformer model to evaluate the below variables and help me create clusters of most preferred buyers. If this was done, then the results would be inconsistent at best…

1. What state do you have in your address in the Tesla app?
2. What state do you have in your address in Tesla.com?
3. Do you own or rent your home? How much is it worth?
4. What type of work title do you have? EG engineer, manager, director, vp, C level?
5. Do you have a X account?
6. Do you have a premium subscription to X?
7. How long have you lived in Your current home?
8. Do you have a LinkedIn account? And are you active on LinkedIn?
9. Are you a business owner?
10. Do you have another Tesla?
11. Have you gotten dinged when using FSD?
12. Did you log into Tesla.com to check your order? And how often?
13. Did tou enable all communication from your Tesla account?
14. How many miles do you put on in 1 year of driving your Tesla?
15. How often do you supercharge?
16. Do you have Tesla Solar?
17. Do you use Tesla electric?
18. Have you ever tried to use the referral program?
19. Do you use Tesla insurance?
20. Have you had any wrecks in your Tesla?
21. Did you recently visit a Tesla store?
22. Have you ever had service done with Tesla? What was the interaction like?
23. What is your preorder number
24. Did you preorder more than 1 vehicle
25. Did you preorder a tri, dual, or single?
26. Did you preorder FSD?

We all looking forward to this magnificent invention and we cant wait, it is just amazing.

I do agree with you, hoped to see that Tesla is following more or less the order of reservation, I’m pretty sure I would have already been able to order based on the orders I see and just waiting.

Eventually we will all get it and it is gonna be all worth the wait.

Thanks for the info and perspective. Given your experience, what do you think is driving invitations? Its not RN, it is location based certainly, however why are some getting invitations in an area while others are not. Considering they both have early paid deposits, although some are days apart. Again, this forum is not 100% ground truth. I personally know 2 others I convinced to place an order for CT the day after the event who have been invited, and have ordered. We all live in the same area, and would pick up from the same service center.

I have 2 orders ahead of theirs, both in RN and reservation time. Location factor is equal, I am the only one with any Tesla history and it made 0 difference. There is far less of a "secret sauce" and more of a throw stuff at the wall sort of approach to this. How is it a hot take to think that is a poor approach and will result in frustration like this?
Well, imagine how I feel!??! :)

I was at the unveiling event in Hawthorne in 2019 and the photo in my avatar is me showing Franz my order on my phone. I didn't get an email acknowledgement of my order for 2 days and my reservation number is 11279xxxx...Looks like I'm going to be waiting a little while...

39k truck, reserve yours now, 500+ miles of range 2019 -> 2024 $80,+$20K truck, reservation=lottery, 340maybe 180 towing
Be fair now. Tesla NEVER proposed a $39K truck with 500+ miles of range. Never, ever did. They didn’t propose a $49K truck with 500+ miles of range. They didn’t propose a $59K truck with 500+ miles of range. If the reservation list is to be believed, the vast majority of the reservations were made on a truck with 300+ miles of range. Guess what? Tesla DELIVERED a 340 mile truck. Yes, the price is higher than proposed, but the CT has many more features than proposed. And the economy is NOT what we anticipated in 2019 either. So if the truck costs a little more, then so be it. But it is a better truck than proposed in many ways, and so the increased cost might be considered understandable. And only the initial Foundation Series has the “+$20K” Of which you speak. AND the price is likely NOT to be $80k in 2 years.

So to set the record straight, unless you were in the minority with the TM reservation, you reserved a truck with 300 miles of range (or less for a RWD). And your range went up.

Who orders pizza at Costco ????
I do. Good fast food.

Weird flex man. UD is not your friend right now.

also you do realize that even tho you’ve gone through and deleted/changed many of your whiny posts (especially the original…), they still show up in the quotes that others have made responding to said whiny quotes?

The internet is forever, man.

That is pretty wild. Meanwhile people in the northeast (LONG way from CA/TX) and reservation numbers in the 113s are getting invites to spend an extra $27.5k

Good news is once they get through the thousands of Foundation Series trucks you will hopefully get your spot in line.
