Happened to see prices just drop on 2024 inventory. Foundation CB now $108k. New 2024 AWD $71990.

I anticipated this happening and was planning to finally purchase this quarter but this happened sooner than I expected. Wondering if its worth waiting to see what else happens at end of quarter.

Summary:

Tesla is now offering new Cybertruck inventory discounts in the U.S. of up to $10,550 off, up from $6,000 before.

• Non-Foundation Series (2024 model year): Up to $10,550 off
• Foundation Series (2024 model year): Up to $10,000 off

Anyone who purchases a new Cybertruck Foundation Series also gets free lifetime Supercharging in addition to these inventory discounts.

NOTE: These discounted trucks are not Demo vehicles. Additionally, 2025 model year Cyertrucks that currently DO qualify for the Federal $7,500 EV credit do not offer any inventory discounts.

Could drop further...or the FS could stock out, they aren't making any more of them. How much do you like to gamble or are you happy taking a non-Foundation if they sell out?

Don't particularly want a FS so not worried about that. It was really just if the price point got to a point I couldn't refuse. Mostly concerned about if this will do the trick to clear out inventory and I miss out.

I agree but if you take advantage of the lease buyout, its $8k cheaper. I will definitely be doing some follow up research on the lease buyout because I can get a better finance rate than Tesla offers anyway.

The FS Beast might be cost constructive if you get PowerShare (4k towards installation and 2.5k for equipment) & light bar. If none of those extras interest you have nothing to lose by waiting in my opinion.

Those items are really the only things that would make it worth it for me. I have reached out to ask about that. Listing shows that powershare bundle is included but the note under free supercharging says "not eligible for powershare voucher". The voucher isn't mentioned anywhere that I can find so I'm trying to get clarity on that. Also asked about the light bar as it is pictured with it but also doesn't state that it comes with it like it used to.

I'll tell you what I'm waiting for. A 2025 AWD with all the usual trimmings. Not the RWD version. Then I simply want the Cyberwheels with AT tires, AND I want that to qualify for the 7500.

I learned the hard way, if it’s not listed anywhere, it doesn’t include it from Tesla.

I was in the same boat as you but I'm leaning more towards a cyberbeast. Same dilemma with wheels though. In reality you can buy different wheels and better tires for cheaper than what Tesla charges for the upcharge. You can even get the Cyber wheels and winter tires for cheaper last I checked.

Always have the option of the lease buyout to still take advantage of the $7500 credit. Just buyout quickly so you don't pay the stupid lease interest rate.

The MF I last saw was actually reasonable. Normal financing is 7-8% with prime and that's the lease interest rate.

New 2024 AWD $71990 ... NOTE: These discounted trucks are not Demo vehicles.
Actually, it looks to me like 2024 New Cybertrucks and 2024 Demo Cybertrucks both get the exact same discounts.

As you indicate, new 2024 AWDs are now available at a discounted price of $71,990 -- but demo 2024 AWDs are also available at the same discounted price. For example, here is a demo 2024 AWD with 2,022 miles, and it is also $71,990.

Doesn't seem like the pricing on demos is entirely realistic. Why would anyone buy a 2024 Demo CT with hundreds or thousands of miles on it, when a 2024 New CT is exactly the same price?

Maybe Tesla expects the 2024 New CTs to quickly sell out, because of the discount. If that happens, then anyone who still wants the discount would have no choice but to settle for a 2024 Demo.
