The Cybertruck should have let the Rivian pull it out of the hole to get traction then turned to the right and punched it and yanked that POS across the line!

So, it was just a matter of who dug the deepest holes first to prevent them from being pulled backwards... got it...

Everytime I purchase a vehicle, I've always wondered how it'd do against another vehicle in a tug of way because it's the most important metric for deciding how useful it is.
For all the newbies that do not realize how this got started.
Hint it was Tesla themselves in
2019.

Haha yes, I watched the clip Elon showed on stage during the CT announcement. But it does not change how useless it is as a practice. It’s a good marketing idea but not useful nonetheless.

I would love to have seen a strain gauge on the pull with the the Peterbilt. I'm sure Whistling Dipsh*t was hoping the CT's rear casting would break so he could have yet another news cycle.

Agreed this comparison is worthless. I do find the towing ones pretty informative though

It’s really interesting to see these comparisons, since before EVs became a bit more popular no one really discussed energy density, just range.

If the Dodge is equipped with the 74 gallon tank, that equates to about 2,470 kWh of energy, compared to the cybertruck’s 123 kWh. It shows how gasoline’s energy by volume is huge compared to the battery, but also how terribly inefficient combustion engines are at converting power to forward movement. Imagine the CT’s range if the battery could store 2,470 kWh!
