My factory option predictions based on keeping the Cybertruck semi affordable.

Two Dual Motor trims will be available. Standard range and long range.

As for options;

-Three Interior color choices (black will come standard. White and space gray will be optional)
-Alloy wheel choices
-FSD
-Powered tonneau cover (cover will no longer be standard. A manual option will also be optional)
-Blade light (no longer standard)
-Tow package
-Running boards
-Recovery hooks
-Floor mats
-Factory wrap option. Hundreds of designs to choose from.

I also predict the Dual Motor version will see production first. Tesla will delay the Quad Motor version for various reasons.

That's an interesting list. However, if powered tonneau cover wasnt' standard, I would be VERY disappointed.

On the other hand, I'd love a solid towing package!

Too many I think

typically options that are integrated are standard. Like the tonneau cover, that’s too complicated I think

it’s either there or not. Lots of rumors it’s ventilated. If they run vents I’d say it’s structurally integrated

mother stuff sounds right though.

Tesla doesn’t work like that. There may be a choice of interiors and there might not be. There will most likely be a choice of wheels. The tonneau has always been standard. There has been no other indication of options in the past year. You are welcome to imagine them but it is likely that some things will be aftermarket and not integrated options.

Yea, most things will be standard and it’ll be one price. Tesla is the in n out of cars, it’s smart.

I could see optional running boards, just as likely as there being zero option at all to do them.

Go look at a config page for any current model.

At most, there will be a battery option.

I think we will see a dual motor only, but a 300 mile range standard or extended 380 or so for awhile. 67k and 85k. That 85 will also afford a cooler wheel, quicker delivery time too. Standard Tesla moves.

It is maybe wishful thinking but it is really unlikely that there will be a battery option
. Tesla bakes their battery option into the trim. They might change the range on a trim but if you don’t like that number you’ll have to go to the next trim. Again, the In and Out of auto makers.

Tesla will do whatever gets the Cybertrucks out the door quickest and cheapest. That means having very few options, with most things included.

Totally disagree with options. I see it like all the other Tesla cars, almost no options (outside color). Henry Ford made one car the same way, which is why he succeeded. Tesla has made five models over their history but focus on two (3 and Y). The ICE manufacturers keep trying to replicate their historical way-too-many models with way-too-many options. The problem with this technique is it requires way too much customization on the assembly line, slowing everything down. Tesla with few options but plenty of features is the way to make vehicles and money. Options only lose money.

Yea, fair!

I wonder about the tow package too.

would it be stronger if it was part of the casting? Hmm..

No way they'll be a factory wrap. Tesla should cancel your order if you even ask.
It isn't completely off the wall. At one time Elon talked of factory wraps at Shanghai.

There was a discussion of tow packages a year or two ago and the consensus was that all trucks would come with a tow package as standard. I certainly hope it will but I'd get it if only offerred as an option.

Yeah I think the only real option would be solar tonneau, possible with roof solar too.

Towing is standard because it's a truck.
Optional rack of some sort most likely
And the whole tent type stuff

Otherwise most things will be standard

Red interior would be awesome?

ElonMusk hews first principles over customary standard automaker practice. SteveJobs at Apple hated automotive “features” for tech, refused the machine mentality and marketed ideas over features. Ideas like HD over floppy, appliance over computer, Think different over Ghz.

WRT battery: I saw structural battery pack reserves a portion aside. Tesla may have room to innovate on that.
WRT trim: 3 works. Maybe in iterations. KISS may mean 1 variant level done 3 ways. OR 3 variants at any one time rotating over 3 versions in due time.

In the grand scheme I wouldn’t bet against another variant coming forward or two or three based off the Cyber* platform. This platform looks to have leggs
