IDRA 9K Giga Press Parts Spotted inside Giga Texas! [Updated 1/11/23 with new pics]

Yesterday it was an intermodal container on a semi. Almost exactly like the the intermodals in the photo from the 6k press. Intermodal containers are just crates with wheels attached. In one of his shots they are on the truck, in the other, off the truck.

I'd be willing to bet that's how the base' are moved. You can't crate something THAT heavy. Or rather, why bother crating it. Just put it in a container like that.

I am expecting that a photo by Joe will show them assembling the press. I think that IDRA sends a team to assemble them and they won’t be twiddling their thumbs if the base is there.

I do believe it is at LEAST two pieces.

I think the containers could BE said base, and they don't crate that, but rather unload each half and align it together on the factory slab to begin build.

Then need to line all these up so we can count them.

I've shipped 98" 4K TVs before, that's my qualification to speculate lmao. But yea. I'm no expert.

Hopefully 38k Bolts do not have to be returned to GM due to fire risks.

Actually, right now ALL Chevy Bolts are being recalled because of fire risk.

But it is not a problems with the Bolt's EV battery.

The GM/Chevy car company that supposedly has 100 years of relevant experience and produced 100 million vehicles forgot that in an accident the seat belt pre-tensioner is supposed to have a little explosion and the explosion should be kept from setting the cars carpet on fire !!!

We know that each 6K ton gigapress took 30+ trucks. I haven’t been counting but I would be very surprised to hear that there have been that many trucks, let alone twice that many. But you won’t hear any complaints from me if there are 2 9K ton gigapresses.

Presumably the photographer was charging their car when they spotted it.

One nice thing for Tesla about the cybertruck is it generates it’s won buzz. By extension IDRA falls under that halo.
