people bought Tesla model 3/y past 2 years must be sad. Very likely, trimotor Cybertruck will qualify for tax credit.

I am not sad. I like the car and didn’t buy it to flip it. By the time we go to sell it everything will even out (several years).

I did the same thing last night with a white LR MY and the price was more like $52K.

the price cut is enough for me to seriously pulling the trigger on a 3 or Y. Even a used 3 I have my eye on with FSD. If new, not pulling the trigger on FSD.

I went to a Tesla mall showroom store so I could have my wife and son sit in a Y and 3 for their input.

while placing the order there, I told the person helping I want a pen. She responded I am not taking delivery yet so I do not get a pen. ?

Through tough negotiations, I acquired one post it sheet included with the order. Fear my negotiating skills.

This is a huge drop for some Models, the Model Y LR is now $53k putting it under the limit to get the rebate.

Model 3 is down to $43k which puts it just over $36k after the rebate.

Pretty awesome. We’re going to see a pretty massive wait list again.

I just compared AU Tesla prices to China's prices. Since we get them from China I expected to see a shipping and other simple charges. I was wrong.

here is an example
In China Model Y cny 259,900 converted AU $55600 660km range
In Australia AU $68,900 RWD 455km range


I hope AU doesn't get screwed on the CT

CYBRTRK will be based on US v AU exchange rates in 2024 or when BLOODY EVER they come to Oz!

The exchange rate has been ignored. The Y is sold here at a price point.

The Cybertruck price could also have nothing to do with the exchange rate.
