Is this a Cybertruck casting / frame / part shown in video posted by Tesla?

Someone have an idea of what this is? It looks like a casting… but none we’ve seen before.

Fooled too many times to leap to any assumptions.

You can see it in motion on video:

PS: It’s not a “Leak” if Tesla smacks you in the face with it.

We know that they are working on the Cybertruck BIW tooling. It may be a jig that has the weight and dimensions of the CT BIW for that part of the manufacturing flow.

Only other possibility is it’s a Semi. Doesn’t quite look right for a Semi though.

It looks too diminutive to be a Semi. Further, the semi's wheels are all outside of the frame from all of the pictures I have seen.

@ED_SFO posted some Model Ximages and it’s almost certain that’s what this is.

It's still got about 1600l of space under the dash and hood. Need to use it for somthin'. So adding a 400l frunk like the Lightning would work. We've had this discussion at least 3z4 times now.

There is not 400 liters of space (14 cu. ft.) once one accounts for drive motors and inverters, gear reduction, half-shafts, footwells, glovebox, air vents, fans, steering motor and steering gears, air suspension strut towers, air compressor, heat pump, octovalve and associated plumbing, low voltage battery, cabin climate control fans and filters and associated motor driven flapper valves, coolant tank, etc. etc, etc.

The Cybertruck, like all Tesla, will have a nice-sized useable frunk but it will not have enough space to raise a family of pigs.

That's what the other 1200l of space is for under the hood and dash. Measure it. Calculate it. Most of the space is under the dash not the hood.

I think it is cybertruck. I have never heard that semi uses castings. Plus it's wrong for semi. Notice how it is very different than the previous "leak" that was a Photoshop? This looks like reasonable castings for an exoskeleton vehicle.

I wonder if in the future when we have eVTOLs for short and long range transportation and no roads for cars anymore (because we don't have bitumen from fossil fuel production) if biological and robotic legged transportation methods will make a come back for local neighbourhood travel.

Sorry, I assumed since it was posted on the Cybertruck forum that it was taken at Giga Austin. If it is from anywhere but Austin my comment/guess is moot.

In the perfect future air probably wouldn't be the most efficient for long range transport. I think also hyperbolic flight probably takes to much energy...
More likely is evacuated tube for long range and evtol for short range ~500 mile travel...
