Sorry you are right. They might still pull that off for $70k or $79k. I think tri-motor is gone. All I will say is that this looks engineered for low cost. I think they are preparing to start an EV truck price war and we saw the first indications of that with the Model Y price cuts.

Agreed, but I'm sure its related to weight savings for range. Would be nice, but I prefer the range if either or.

Those are the tie down loops, same as the ones at the bottom at the end of the bed and you can also just see them in the point of the alcove at the front of the bed. Tie down loops are a necessity if you really want to use the truck bed for truck bed things.

About the biggest bummer for me is that it looks like there’s no midgate. Not sure I’m a fan of no driver display either, but oh well.

Is there an instrument cluster, from the video I don’t see a raised area of the dash through the windshield for there to be one.

I didn’t see one yet and am disappointed.
