Based on the stock market crash, maybe Tesla should avoid roadmaps?

I am happy to see the tie downs instead of the triangular cutout tie downs.

My poor husky is not pleased there is no indication of a midgate that was never promised

Speculation on the loss of the center front seat. I am bummed if this is the case. If losing 16% of seating, I expect a 16% reduction in price…? I am not convinced yet it is gone.

The 4x6 bed must at least be a quarter wider and longer to lay a 4’ wide sheet flat. I did not see a flip stop on the tailgate. Did anyone make one out?

Those who receive delivery first, don’t forget to PM me your address. I am coming over with questions and a measuring tape.

I would’ve preferred to have some tow mirrors instead of the triangle ones that can easily be taken off when not towing. I guess you can always buy aftermarket but towable mirrors would have been more functional for me.
For $1,500 you may upgrade to tow mirrors

WALKAROUND VIDEOS:

So they put the hubcaps back on and took away the middle seat upfront due to 5% shrink. Overall the truck looks better.

I love it so far, only concern is the lack of stocks for gear selector. I hope I don't need to touch the screen all the time when I'm trying to back up a trailer. Some spots are tight where we camp and I'm always switching to reverse and drive.

Windshield appears to be perfectly flat, which should mean much cheaper replacement than curved glass. It does have a corner cut-out for the BAW. It appears that ALL the glass is perfectly flat, except maybe the roof which appeared to have a bevel near the side edge, but probably not, lighting had a weird reflection in the video.
The BAW is behind the A pillar and cannot be seen from the driver's position, except maybe the bottom elbow, where it is farther above the glass.

As far as the tailgate extending past level.... exactly how would that work?
Tailgate was level in the vid, but the straps holding it up were not tight. There's slack in them.
The top mounting point for the strap is much lower than what I'm used to.
The tailgate mounting point for the strap is much closer to the pivot point than I'm used to.
Neither end of the strap appears to be easily removable.
The tailgate latch is much, much lower than what I'm used to.
Tailgate pivot point (hinge) is not visible at all. It's inside a squared-off box. Great close-up at 4:08 of the video.
There's definitely a little room between the tailgate and the bumper which would allow the tailgate to extend past level. Hmmm... In some of the shots it looks like the tailgate is lowered a tiny bit below level with the bed.
There's definitely no loading ramp to pull out, unless you pull the cover off the top of the tailgate first.

and then...
I cut this image out of a screenshot, there's a lot going on there, tailgate strap hanger, tailgate latch, rubberbabybuggybumper, compliance brake light, vault rail, tie-down rail, more rubber seals that I thought I would see.....
And maybe, just maybe, the clearest indication yet of just how thick the exoskeleton steel is. seems pretty thick.

You mean toe mirrors, so you can do something else than navel gaze, for the lack of new CT details! ?

That means a powered tailgate, and maybe 'Frunkgate'(?)
'Tell him he's Deamin'
It's tailgate release button. I don't think powered tailgate.... Just damped opening

This truck doesn't look like frunkgate... But maybe the grille area lifts with hood and then internal frunkgate

Bi directional power input/output on Cybertruck is not looking good as they’re doing a Q&A right now and Elon is expressing how he doesn’t see people wanting that function w/o a Powerwall as once you unplug your house goes dark. Dude next to him on the panel (not sure which department he works in at Tesla) backed him up and agreed.

I remember this being discussed on here previously and seems Elon has not changed his stance on the matter.
We’ve installed thousands of batteries and now ~ 200 bi directional ford chargers, quite a few that also have home batteriss. Tesla isn’t doing it because they want to sell their batteries. Of course the house would go black if theres a blackout. That point is moot imo.
