Like the MY and M3, there will be aftermarket front license plate holders that will attach to the vent grilles below the "beverage dispenser" :)
don’t get me wrong, I don’t run a front plate at all (despite living in TX, which “requires” them)

Texas requires a plate that is visible from the front, but not specifically affixed anywhere, so inside on the dash will do. I've never been cited for a missing plate, but I keep it in the car and toss it on the dash as needed.

Driving on base, they won't let you on if you are missing a required plate. Ask me how I know.

You can store all of Texas plates in the dash now.

you could do that, it would leave an opening for rain/dirt/mud to enter the frunk area.
...And?

Your reel is going to get muddy. Might as well have the option to let it stay clean as long as possible. And lose as little range as possible.

Your charging cables and other tools are going to get muddy anyhow, so you have to sacrifice some cargo space to muddy tools.

But while we are in that area, I don't know where the number plate is going.. if it attaches to that little panel, seems it will obscure the front camera.
Looks like it insets there slightly, so the camera juts out.

Large percentage of cars drive around without front plates in Texas. You won’t get pulled over for it unless they were looking for a reason to pull you over.
The time I got pulled over for rolling a stop sign he tacked that on as a bonus prize along with not using my windshield registration sticker. Those are fix and forget items so I put the sticker up for the picture and hot glued the plate on. They use hot glue for PDR so figured why not. Sent the pictures in for the tickets, got them removed and took them right back off.

You can get away with not having the registration sticker on as long as you don’t have the front plate on since when you buy a car in Texas you don’t have either so it looks like you just bought it. Still need to pay your registration yearly the tax man must be paid.

Such as 'driving while brown', or looking too poor to fight the tickets.

Wow. This might be a shocker for you Crissa but I’m brown and never got pulled over for it or when I was young and broke.
Then you lead a charmed life, because statistics were against it.

Do you think that everyone else is lying, then? Because why bring up your lucky happenstance?

Ha charmed life huh? Grew up poor and lived in the ghetto. So keep on talking like you know everything and that people aren’t supposed to be responsible for their own actions. Just funny how this thread was about the “Frunk” and you bring that crap into it.

You do know that even if you have a higher chance to be pulled over and harassed...

It's just a chance? You might not roll a 1 on a d6, either. For every chance, there was a chance not.

But you're strangely upset at me sharing this little piece of wisdom.

So because it didn't happen to you, it doesn't happen at all?

Why are you so upset about it?
