After all the videos and leaks from the past week I am trying to get a summary of features and functions and group them into “likely, unlikely, and unknown” based on the hints we have.

Obviously this is all speculation and nothing is final until it ships.

***italicized items added based on comments

Likely
  • Powered and sealed tonneau cover
  • 120v outlet at bed (based on the size of the door cutout)
  • Frunk (with good/low accessibility)
  • Ventilated seats
  • 4 wheel steering
  • Sub trunk in bed
  • Powered tailgate Auto drop/dampened tailgate
  • Push button doors handles
  • Tie down points and e-track L-track rails
  • HW4 w/ bumper cam
  • Yoke steering wheel
  • BAW
  • NACS charge port w/ cool CT logo and sealed access door
  • Steer by wire
  • Oh shucks grab handles
  • Adaptive air suspension
  • Armored glass on side windows

Unlikely
  • Folding Midgate
  • Driver display
  • 6 seat option
  • Spare tire location

Unknown
  • Midgate window operation
  • Power outlets in frunk
  • 240V outlet
  • Air compressor outlet
  • Side sail storage
  • Tailgate ramp
  • Powered frunk
  • Armored glass on windshield
  • Rear seat features (folding, storage, etc)
  • Rear seat display/controls
  • High def radar
  • Light bars in the bed
  • Light bar at the top of windshield
  • Powered tailgate closing (updated from comments)
  • W/L/H in units of chickens

I did this from memory so chime in if I got it wrong or missed a feature!

We've seen the armored glass, so we're pretty sure it made it... but not given a demo of which technologies and hardness made it it. The one picture of the seal on the window is the company they were getting armor glass from.

And I would say 'push-button doors (no) handles'

Good list, little speculation!

I believe the rear lightbar is also an unknown we saw it on some prototypes but not others.
also unknown sorry to reply to my own reply.... the rear lightbar was on the tailgate as i recall and the middle brakelight was on it... law in the US requires a center brake light.. so assuming the tailgate is down.. we have no idea where that 3'rd tail light will come from

I don't think it's required with the tail down; cargo is allowed to block the center light.

Great summary! Thank you. My only question is were the doors opened by a button or just opened when you are in proximity of the sensor and (obviously) have the card fob on hand or nearby. Looks like Franz stored his card inside by the cup holder.

I ask because I couldn't tell by the camera angles if Franz actually pushed a button or if he just put his hand up to the sensor.

Excellent summary!

For the "unknowns", I would add:

  • Cost
  • Start of delivery
We have a good idea as noted by my crystal ball. See signature. Put start of production 6 months before my delivery date.

There you go, ready to add to the list.

I would put sail storage in the unlikely category, unfortunately.

Powered tailgate
we have not seen a powered tailgate

we’ve seen what’s consistent with a power latch with a pneumatic drop

show me a tailgate going up on its own, before we’ve seen a power tailgate

A button is just a pressure sensor.

But it does seem to either be optical or electrocapacitive like a phone or some combination of the above.

We don't know if it'll have a fingerprint scanner like a phone, although that has been suggested (as opposed to just said 'that's a good idea - it was shown on a Roadster concept as a working model that looks strikingly like how the Cybertruck works.) We also saw Elon use this on stage at the Cyber Rodeo.
