Honestly seeing all the complaining gives me hope that my late reservation won't take three years to fill.

$80K price for the first couple of years of dual motor production plus all of the people who will back out for other reasons (bed size, six passengers, frunk space) is going to weed a lot of people out.

Saw this after looking at these pictures over and over again since posting... could this indicate some interior sail storage?kinda looks like it, huh?

Long live sail pillar storage!!!

Good catch. It does look like a panel that can be opened.

On it's side, I certainly could. I have a Coleman "party stacker" cooler that I keep in the Model 3 frunk, and it's much, much larger than even my largest Rockpals power pack.

Look, I'm a huge Tesla fan. I was at the Cybertruck reveal, and lost my voice hollering with excitement. But unless they've hidden some storage space under the rear seat, Tesla missed a huge opportunity with storage space in the Cybertruck. The Ford Lightning funk is massive. 14 cubic feet. A member of the mob would only need to make one trip to the river.
FairPoint. I think we will see when they put the fascia in that, that probably takes up a lot of the space too. My current truck has a spare tire and under bed storage I just hope I don't lose storage going into the cyber truck.

fuck me! ??

you nailed it
Likely a nod to 4680 but the code usually has no relation to cell diameter, for example BT00 on the Model Y 4680 or BT42 for the Panasonic 2170 Model Y LR.

That's the track for the vault cover.

And that shot is also the best one we’ve had so far to demonstrate rearward visibility of the driver via the rear window

this has been apparent since the investor day shots, but harder to jump out if not knowing what to look for

I have it on hood authority that ‘natural’ vision out of the CT (back, side, front) is … bad

effectiveness of cameras/monitors will be the watch-for

Am I'm alone in feeling the more leaks I see, the more I'm somewhat disappointed with direction this trucks interiors going? Don't get me wrong, its exterior design is fantastic, but the interior is just too model 3 blah for what it is on the outside. And regarding the doors - is that just a clear plastic shipping wrap, or will the stainless steel always appear like that after extended use?

Be gentle fan boys it's just a opinion/question lol
That looks like uncleaned residue from a removed vinyl wrap.

but a sixth seat at the reveal.
Not only was seating for 6 in the specifications but when the Cybertruck drove and parked on stage, 6 people got out of the Cybertruck. The driver was Franz and there were 4 average-size male passengers and 1 small/medium size woman. Not much different in size range as a young or medium age family with 6 people of varying ages & heights who use pickup truck for camping or sports.

Frunk, minus the pretty covering that will eventually hide all that crap.
The generator is there for God kows why!
It is sad that there is a generator there at all when there should be onboard power outlets in the frunk. Maybe not 'that' many, but enough for whatever they needed this generator for.

I am renting this KIA EV6 and there is NO natural visibility over my left shoulder because the B-Pillar blocks it. And the KIA has no side cameras to take up the slack. I hope that the CT has a robust side and rearview solution (mirrors + cameras + monitors).

Look at the front of the truck in this GIF. The frunk depth certainly was changed.
chg x ezgif.com-gif-maker.gif
False interpretation. You can see there is a different lens focal length at play here from the far side windows alone.

If anything, the curvature of the front nose panel is a bit greater on the late beta and RC builds.
