I worked in test a long time, and I would never try and judge the difference between 1mm and 3mm from that distance and angle.

Bringing my sledgehammer to the service center when I pick mine up and test the doors before I sign.

Would be funny to actually just bring one and watch the startled look on the face of the representative helping you when you ask if you can check the CT out first before I sign.

Maybe have a metal ball and open carry my 9mm that day! ??????

Nothing? Surely it will stop something.

Do you think it will stop...
a stiff breeze?
a hurricane?
A pingpong ball?
A cannon ball?
A mouse?
A rhino?

Well the truth is out there.

Some day we'll know.....

About right here:

Yes-------------------
a stiff breeze?
a hurricane?
A pingpong ball?
NO--------------------
A cannon ball?
A mouse?
A rhino?

Yeah, maybe that mouse would find a panel gap to get through....

As Ron White would say, "It's not THAT the wind is blowing, it's WHAT the wind is blowing. If you get hit by a Volvo it really doesn't matter" how thick your SS body is.

was going to make a joke about "mm => micrometers" in elon speak, but looking at the photo more carefully, this looks like a pretty thick panel at least from this angle
Screenshot 2023-10-03 at 09.15.15.png
I is hard to estimate from the photo. Two pennies stacked equals 3.04 mm.
