given the official CT xwitter announcement language, pretty clear this is the handover/insider delivery event

which is great to hear!

as for retail deliveries, I’d guess this means the absolute theoretically earliest any would occur would be Middle to end of December - and then at small numbers, likely to folks in Central TX area

and as for 2024, targeting fewer than 125K deliveries total

that squarely puts Me into 2025,assuming the follow res order #s - but the act presents a real possibility they don’t follow res orders as strictly

so the uncertain wait continues for me

I wonder if it will be as short as the model y delivery event.

Also would they start notifying potential customers dec 1....lots of questions.
They usually start in batches. There will be a batch before the delivery event (because they'll take delivery then) but that's usually just employees; the next batch (like for the Y) came before the delivery event and who knows when the next batches will arrive?

They'll send out as many as they need to make sure production is called for over the next six months. Which means ever time someone doesn't answer, or selects something - wheels, color, whatever - that's later they'll send out more invitations.

It's not seldom seen. We know where they are. You can go to the Pepsi/Frito Lay plant and see them come and go. Or Giga Nevada.

Pilot means they're making a token amount, assuming that they want to catch problems in fewer models. Like the temporary straps on the Model Y's heat exchanger when they had to increase its size.

Will Tesla do the same thing Chevrolet did with the Corvette Z06 and not allow people to flip them until 6 months? Also, who wants to be the first group of owners of a totally new vehicle? It is not like there is a Tesla repair station in every large city and we all know Tesla's track record for customer service.

Great customer service for both of my Model Ys! Good point. And, I'd love to be the first in Nebraska with a Cybertruck!

The Q3 financials deck just came out and the Cybertruck is now listed as Pilot Production, with >125K production capacity.

Also.... Cybertruck production remains on track for later this year, with first deliveries scheduled for November 30th at Giga Texas!!

I assume we will have a price by then for each model, with specs, and maybe even detailed photos instead of vague angles and distant shots.
stay tuned

I will be looking towards 2035.
Guessing they may introduce more lines to produce the CT if the demand stays high.

I am not holding my breath. When the web page changes, then I will start getting excited. From the report, it appears they are having problems getting the production line in gear. CT's are just trickling out.
