Wonder how mqny cracked glass roofs we are going to see if bikes fall over and the handlebars wack into that glass top. I would actually be fine with a solid roof, I'm gooing to end up putting a roof shade anyway
If i can find a super discreet powered one like the new ones on the Y i might grab one too. Would probably be harder on CT though because of the Triangle lol

Hang on a sec. The vault is about 6 feet in length, the bike is 7’8” in length, but the tailgate is up. How is this possible? Either the bike is smaller or the bed is longer, which is it?
turn the handlebar... makes the bike "shorter"... corner to corner is longer than length alone.

It has Tardis qualities.

Sure looks like an africa twin. Seems like a confirmation that the bed is still 6.5' long!

That bike would barely fit.

Ah, that’s it. I didn’t notice it was turned. Makes sense. I still don’t think a 6-foot person could lie in the vault comfortably unless at an angle.

As TyPope said the handlebars are turned making the bike shorter.

Or at an incline. Let the feet stick out the back over the tailgate.

Turning the handlebars would only gain you a couple inches, the bed still needs to be longer than 6', well I suppose it could be wider... but with the rear wheel steering.. I doubt that's the case.

I agree. Being 6'3", moving to a California King was a blessing. Finally, the sheets/covers don't pull down so hard on my toes. LOL. Literally, the person would fit but it wouldn't be comfortable. Maybe someone will make an extender/doggie door thing that lets you sleep in the vault with the tailgate down. It'd be like a little roof, sides, maybe two windows, and a door with a little ladder... Nothing too fancy. (read, expensive)

...You don't have to leave them tucked when sleeping. I surely don't. And I'm not 6'3" like my father.

There was a rumor that there is no more ramp.
In that, we haven't seen one on any model other than the original prototype.

The bike is put in diagonally

as can be seen in the photo, or deduced from your comments

the bed is 6’1” long

but the usable length for a motorcycle is closer to 5’8” - 5’9” long (because the forward bulkhead slants towards the tailgate)

That's not a big motorcycle....

I was wondering that myself. For one thing it is an offroad bike, and they are never super large (tall yes). Even a 750 would be larger than that thing.

Any chance the tailgate will have a horizontal option when open? That would give some extra room for larger bikes or longer cargo. My bike would never fit (over 100.7"), but I wouldn't want to roll an 888lb bike backward out of the bed of any truck!
