or towing, in South Texas with a launch site in the background.
there’s definitely that

though it gets me to thinking maybe Iceland and space X are just cool b-reel

are they really ‘demonstrations’ ?

4-wheeling and towing just doesn’t have the same Musk-child quality as shooting up cars with a tommy gun or pulling stunts

I bet they recreate that video where they beat a car in a race while towing that car. And the towed car beats the driving one

Wondering why they need two 911s?

Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't see any proof of a "Cybetruck promotional video".

That article is sourced from one X post that shows the 911/Lightning pic and two older videos of the CT driving around. The vehicles aren't even at the same place at the same time.

The caption "It looks like Tesla is getting ready to some based line testing with these 911s and Lightning" is all we're going with?

I think I've seen two of those types of videos. One was a Rivian pulling a Syclone truck I think but I can't recall the car in the other one. It was an older smaller sport car [Alfa Romeo 4C Spider ].

I have no doubt the demo will be mind blowing but we may get the pricing in another 4 years.

The middle man should be James Tiberius Kirk (William Shatner) so we can tell how it stacks up against Rivian.

Although we were talking space, all accelerations well bellow the limits of the arteries in my head. I used to have a 2.6 sec ride in my 20s and had no problem with it. Now, I almost pass out at 3.9 sec in my Lightning. It is a fun but often unnecessary party trick. I will be happy with 7 Sec truck if Tesla can give me affordability, long term reliability, range and good utility.

I don't think those are GT3s, no rear wing. Not a Turbo either. So the Carreras it could be times are;

Carrera 4.0s
Carrera S 3.5s
Carrera GTS 3.2s
Carrera GT3 Touring 3.7s
Carrera S/T 3.5s

Couldn't be...
GT3 3.2s
GT3 RS 3.0s

If the CT hits <3.0, it'll smoke everything 911 with the exception of the Turbo and Turbo S. As for Porsche electric, it would beat every Taycan model (5.1s-3.0s) except the Taycan Turbo S at 2.6s (Don't ask me how your get a turbo on an electric car) And yes, a long range Model Y is faster than the base Porsche Taycan. (And 112 miles more range at over $50,000 cheaper!) And yes, the base Taycan has only 208 miles of range.
