Range extender would be a flat pack that slides into the bed.

It needs to be that area to fit enough batteries for the extra range.

There's a possibility that there is enough height under the bed cover to store it there.

A rental model would be cool.

Another attendee just confirmed it's a toolbox sized battery.

Tool box would work as well, but would be fairly large.

It will be heavy, so it needs a crane to lift it.

I'm not saying it can't be done. But road vehicles that are designed for 80+mph are a little bit of a different story than tractors. Belly mowers, 3 point hitches, universal skid steer plates, etc have also had a long time to standardize and work out the bugs.
