So the Vogon poetry series?
Had to look that up... Thanks for the ego boost: there is something worse than my poetry!

I was thinking a rear wheel drive CT that came with road tires for urban drivers who gently, and comfortably, go from point A to B.

I have a 21 MY and it is a great car but the suspension is brutal and hurts my wife's back. I enjoyed the review videos out there because the CT appears to be very comfortable.

Have my Foundation ordered, but on second glance FSD is listed as 'Full Self-Driving Capability' which suggests it is capable but not included. Other Teslas without FSD also say FSD capable, but you still have to purchase it. @cvalue13

I asked about this at Tesla store today. They had no idea of course. We need to pin this down. a deal killer if not fsd

Yeah, I would like you guys be left wanting further clarification, because it just doesn’t seem clear or certain.

On one hand, a few people have said that “FSD Capable” is how it always reads for orders that include FSD. And I’m not familiar with purchasing FSD, so they may be right ??‍♂

But absent better proof than comments from the (often hopium-fueled) few, I’m still dubious

Take for example the language of your order sheet

Tesla Cybertruck Foundation Series Cybertruck -- Clarified C44AA366-B179-4546-BA0E-F1D980060D6F

It says “Base Autopilot”, full stop - no ‘capable,’ etc.

And as I understand it, the levels of self-driving associated with a car are in order:

• (Base) Autopilot
• Enhanced Autopilot
• Full Self Driving

So, why would “Base Autopilot” (with no qualifications) be listed alongside “FSD Capable” if the truck simply had FSD, full-stop?

Until someone shows how this crazy talk is always how it reads for other Tesla, even after clearly paying for FSD, I’m all ears

until then, I’m at best unsure, and at worse (on the face of it) forced to think FSD is not included in price.

afterall, “capable” can mean eg available for either purchase or their subscription model

sorry, this uncertainty must be frustrating when you’ve got commitments in the works, and I hope you know that my comments above are intended only to try and help draw out others who can clarify Tesla history and standard language in order to get more clarity, esp for you lot

My assumption is the the foundation series is hard loaded including FSD. This would mean there is little to no premium.

for what it’s worth, I’m increasingly convinced this is an incorrect assumption

FSD doesn’t work yet with the CT

leaving it unclear if co-listing wirh Base AP means either

(A) FSD is paid up in full, but it’s not in the truck yet (ie “FSD Capable”)

or

(B) comes with base AP, but everything you need to later pay for and have FSD installed (eg “FSD Capable”)

which is a material ambiguity for Tesla to leave un-clarified

That said, back to first principles, I *highly* doubt that a $20K limited edition series is comprised of FSD being a $12K option, leaving all these other things that are also included (to include exclusivity of limited edition), for only a net $8K

Your assumption isn’t unreasonable and may turn out true, but certainly not settled

I don't have a screen grab, but one of the screens during ordering showed a partial breakdown of the $20K Foundation package. It had $12K listed for the FSD. I presume is said FSD Capability, but I wasn't paying that close of attention.

My MYP didn't mention FSD at all. And I didn't purchase it.

Because it doesn't say EAP capable either I would call it the real FSD package.

I guess you’re right! ??‍♂

which is good news for our members who pulled trigger on the value proposition that it included FSD

??

Here is what I have below. This includes FSD. It’s just not released yet and will be upcoming. Or may not be available if the laws don’t allow for it…

White Trim Interior - Does this mean that it is white leather seats as well? I love my all white interior Model 3, and I wish that is what I am getting for CyberTruck foundation series as well. I only saw white trim with black seats in the pictures so far. Yes, I already ordered the Beast.

Any thoughts?
