Will a founders edition be worth more than a "normal" CT 5 years from now? I am guessing a couple grand at best for the badging notoriety, but not the price spread. The more they produce over 1000 units the less this notoriety is worth. Of course these vanguards do get to enjoy the CT before the riffraff.

Would the folks that are receiving these 2nd round invites please advise us as to your RN numbers (first 5 digits only, left to right). This would help me/us further understand the order process (if there is one?). Thx

My RN is 11282xxxx (placing me about 72k). Based on production estimates on this forum, and 100% reservation holders making reservations I would not take delivery until early 2025. But there are already folks with this reservation sequence that have been invited and ordered their Foundation series (per this forum's signup). If, as speculated, only 20% of reservation holders want a Foundation/Cyberbeast (my preference) then my slot could moves up to about 14k and I could see an invitation soon.

I woke up in the middle of the night this past week, my heart racing, as my dream was that I had received an invitation by never saw it (stuck in a spam, folder, missed reading it, or it was only available only if I signed on and checked my reservation (as some threads suggested)). I'm traveling for Christmas and probably will not have regular access to my email - so that nightmare may be real.

Watch the desirability drop to zero once Tesla updates the Cybertruck with some changes that can't be retrofitted, perhaps, HW5 or a new MCU that is more capable.

Dang that’s wild. I’m on the east coast and was able to place my order first thing this am from getting the invite yesterday… I do wonder what that means!!? I really hope i didn’t spend an extra 30K to get this version to only find out that the regular version will be available for order in the coming weeks..

As someone who did indeed order an AWD Foundation last night from the 2nd tranche, I truly do hope that all retail orders open up next Friday!! Let’s all have fun with this!

I simply ordered yesterday because the Foundation AWD had exactly every feature I wanted and frankly, it was available to order.

I would’ve done the same for the same reason. At least now I know I’m vindicated in my plan to literally drop everything and accept the minute the opportunity to order/configure comes up. You never know when that offer will be rescinded!

Some truth in this but also Elon has said himself the best time to buy in the evolution of their cars is the launch of the vehicle or once its been out for a long time. (paraphrased)

Besides you may well be the 1st to receive a CT in the southeast or at least NC/SC. I'll call the local channels for you and they will be out there in droves to put on the PM news.

You will be the lead car in any 4th parade in NC next year! Heck sell rides in it too make up the price difference.
