51 mph not even a highway speed, I mean not a major highway. on the left hand numbers ers under current , actually, 147 / 2.07 = 44 mphSo based on the mi/drive time, that’s at an average speed of 51mph
sounds about right
Can I ask how you got those calcs? I am a dummy. I see 147 miles and in 2 hours of current drive. But I am not sharp with all the ways you calculate thatSo based on the mi/drive time, that’s at an average speed of 51mph
sounds about right
well, I think a lot of people will find that a typical trip on an eg 70mph hey averages out to around a 50mph average speed accounting for stops/starts, slowdowns in traffic, etc.51 mph not even a highway speed, I mean not a major highway. on the left hand numbers ers under current , actually, 147 / 2.07 = 44 mph

I dont math super well but i calculated ~6951 mph not even a highway speed, I mean not a major highway. on the left hand numbers ers under current , actually, 147 / 2.07 = 44 mph
yes 69 , that is correct, and it is even betterI dont math super well but i calculated ~69
Average speed of 44MPH is "Highway" maybe in traffic, but not highway speeds.
At 44MPH average still under 300 miles of range, better than some of the other reports for sure which is encouraging for city driving range. But 44MPH is pretty slow.
So if the average speed was 69 mph and it hit 416wh/mi thats about 300 milesyes 69 , that is correct, and it is even better
Definitely nice to get a glimmer of hope that the truck can get 295 miles of range compared to other #s coming in.So if the average speed was 69 mph and it hit 416wh/mi thats about 300 miles
Do you feel better now @Gigahorse? And thats using the higher wh/mi
But to go 147 miles on 2 hours and only spend 416Wh/m (short of really favorable conditions).. wouldn’t the average speed be higher?well, I think a lot of people will find that a typical trip on an eg 70mph hey averages out to around a 50mph average speed accounting for stops/starts, slowdowns in traffic, etc.
the EPA hey test conditions reflect this, and come to an average of 48mph
Like with the EPA, it’s a whole different ball of wax when you're instead talking about an eg open road hey cruise with long periods of sustained 75mph
take the mi/hr equation and run it out - but I think you’re asking because my number was non-obvious/wrongCan I ask how you got those calcs? I am a dummy. I see 147 miles and basically 2 hours. But I am not sharp with all the ways you calculate that
Gotcha thanks! Whether you want to be or not, I find your info valuable/credible on this forum. when I was doing the calcs, I thought I was missing something, and I couldn’t figure it out hahatake the mi/hr equation and run it out - but I think you’re asking because my number was non-obvious/wrong
147mi/2.116hrs = 69mi/hr
I did bad/fast maths
separately, I’m not sure what to make of the post’s title data RE 190mi/76kwh - that would appear to involve some 43mi of citi / non Hwy driving within it
Edit - got it. Seems less “sky is falling” numbersBut to go 147 miles on 2 hours and only spend 416Wh/m (short of really favorable conditions).. wouldn’t the average speed be higher?
more if you just go with the wh/mi on the right. lol 306!Definitely nice to get a glimmer of hope that the truck can get 295 miles of range compared to other #s coming in.
