This is just WRONG! The chemicals he is using are for PAINTED cars. There are proven Stainless Steel cleaners on the market, with proven record, for $4.95 a bottle. Check on Amazon for Sprayway Stainless Steel Cleaner Polish and Weiman Stainless Steel Cleaner Polish.

Nothing personal to the creator, but I stopped watching as soon as he disclosed that he'd taken the vehicle to wash in a place with no source of rinse water. That's clearly a situation of negligence or impatience in preparation, and one which I'd never put myself in when washing a vehicle. So the rest of the video would be of no use to me. Of course my luck one day I'll be rinsing my Cybertruck, and then suddenly a water main will break somewhere cutting off the water in my neighborhood, and then I'll wished I'd watched that video ...?

But, who has posted an actual link/reference to a Tesla document or source stating that Dawn is 'Tesla Recommended'?? Since it's in the thread title I'm sure it's sourced somewhere, so where has this come from as I'd really like to see the source?

Seems like general stainless steel cleaner creates a brownish tint which looks messy whereas windows/glass cleaner is the real answer for CT's special HFS

If they're the same products marketed for kitchen appliances, I wouldn't want to put them on my Cybertruck. They clean, but also leave a residue to even out the surface appearance, that needs to be reapplied to upkeep. Seems like it would be a hassle to maintain that surface in an outdoor environment.

Stainless steel cleaner products tested.

Lots of sensitive babies on the forum.
making fun of someone with a disability who is doing something with his life is not a joking matter....maybe after you've been on this forum for a longer period of time you will develop more sensitivity

Trying to clean up oils with just iso is a fool's errand.

That's why god invented soap.

Then she invented iso alc to remove the left over soap residue.

Barkeep is an acid, without knowing the exact production method of the CT alloy it could potentially tarnish the surface. As Barkeep isn't meant to sit on a surface for too long anyways.

What if you use mineral oil to wipe a thin film onto the car, and it didn't show hand prints because it's essentially pre-oiled? Maybe the fancy ceramic coat things do the same

If you’re going to fly from Colorado to Texas to do a Cybertruck wash video, don’t you think you would have a hose hooked up to rinse to soap off??? Why would you just buff in the soap with a cloth. And if you would normally use 2 buckets, stop at Home Depot and pick up another one.
Looks thrown together at the last minute.
What a dumb ass comment
dude ... ?
That's not very nice.
It is just odd to me that someone goes through an enormous effort and they are a professional detailer/wrapper and are being questioned about what they are doing. Certainly, all that was discussed behind the scenes and what their options were. It seems ignorant (lacking knowledge or awareness) to question the basics of what they are doing like they don't know or haven't thought of those obvious things.
