Congrats to @firoz on his Cybertruck (now on the owner's registry list)!

That’s already a field on the list. Can we start having people indicate if they are an employee or not?
I have a list of a couple dozen VN’s that are about to deliver in the California market… They are all employees
Did they give you any clarity on when the 2 weeks start? From when the vin is assigned? Or from some arbitrary time later?I'm a non-employee in SoCal, I have a VIN in the app (for over a week), and no CT delivery date or contact from Tesla. I spoke to two Sales Associates (phone and text), nobody has tracking information for me. The phone SA told me it takes 2 weeks to get from TX to CA, and I could be waiting until end of the month.
I could have sworn I got my VIN earlier than they claimed, which was Jan 11, but if we go off that date, it's still 8 days (inclusive) from then to now. The SA said "2 weeks" from the manufacture date, which according to him was Jan 11. I was hesitant to believe them, but I went with it.Did they give you any clarity on when the 2 weeks start? I'm only even worried because of my trade in. They did the exact math and subtracted my sales tax savings from what my model Y should trade in for, and offered me that. Which is just enough for me to just trade it. But working from what you're saying, that means if I don't have a vin like monday (a week from trade in offer, which would leave room for the 3 week fluff time that you've seen from vin to potential delivery), it means my trade in offer could expire before delivery, and I'll end up getting an even lower offer. If that's going to happen, I'd like to attempt a private sale.I could have sworn I got my VIN earlier than they claimed, which was Jan 11, but if we go off that date, it's still 8 days (inclusive) from then to now. My VIN ends 794, which made me think more trucks were delivered before me and Tesla had reached a cadence of deliveries. Now I'm doubting that to be true?
Honestly, it's all fine by me. The fewer CT's around, the better for me.
Interestingly, I also got the inv on 12/8 but ordered on 12/12 now we’re paying the price ?
I think people that got invites on 12/8 might have been in shell shock. More than half of people that got the 12/8 invite didn't order immediately. All of the subsequent batch invites mostly ordered same day.It doesn't help I got the invite on 12/8 but didn't order until 12/22.
How's the ride?!?! Are you enjoying how it drives? It’s everything we’ve been waiting for folks!

I’ve been driving a model 3 and y since 2018 - previously had an f150 fx4 and a Honda ridgeline - this is exactly what I was hoping it would feel like and expect as a tesla truck. Turning is fantastic, acceleration is insane (seriously paying an extra 20k for trimotor isn’t necessary imo) interior is the better than the 3 and y. Loving it so far. Only gripe is the window wiper, while it works well, is a bit streaky in the middle… giving it some more time to break in before asking for a replacement. How's the ride?!?!
